i havent had my period since july 16th and its already september and thats not normal for me at all. i did take a pregnancy test though last week but it came out negative!!! whats goin on?

i am so afraid of taking something wrong i went to walgreens and asked the pharmacist about tylenol cold and she said it could speed up the heart rate so i put it back.. I dont have a dr yet to call and ask just wondering if anyone has any clue so i can ask the pharmacist if its alright to take any suggestions yall may have.. Thanks!

When now am 18 days late on my period and I took a Test it came back negitive but I have been cramping but no bleeding. So my two questions are

Okay I think I may be pregnant. Although I should wait for my Docs results, I want other "just" opinions.

I have been on birth control or over a year regular and I start my period the Monday after the sunday period pill, everytime. And I take my pills regular.
My last regular period was June 5th -11th.
Then I had unprotected sex on the 20th and the 23rd (thinking BC covered us)
Then my july period was 3 days late and instead of cramps I had an annoying pain just below my belly. Then I had a "period" but it was very light for 2 full days. I thought nothing of it and was relelieved to have one. Then we had sex again on the 20th of july unprotected once again. July 24th I was really tired and had a light headache( from then til now thats how it has been) the day after the headache and tiredness I got food sensitive and nausea all the time, and my boobs got very sore (still sometimes sore and bigger)

I had sex two times with my girlfriend today. When we did the second time, my penis became not as hard as before. My penis shrinked whenever I left her body. Therefore, she did a handjob and my penis grew again for a few times. When I finally ejected the sperm, I realized that inside my condom, there was blood. I am afraid that's her blood.
My question is : if my penis shrinked and I made it grow again, would the condom still be effective? Or, there is chance that the sperm has been released during the shrinkage?

Secondly, how can i test is she pregnant?

My boyfriend and I are currently living together, but are not married. If I give our son his last name, are there any legal aspects I should be aware of? I keep picturing this frightening scenerio where his mother, or someone else with his last name, comes and takes him from school. This especially concerns me since his sister has the same first name that I do, and because I do not get along well with his mother. I trust that my boyfriend will be a good father, but I am concerned over custody issues and I am likely to end up being the primary caregiver to the child, possibly moving away within the first year of our sons life, due to my graduation from college. Does anyone know any of the legal aspects involved with having a child with a different last name? Would the scenerio I have pictured be an issue or be more likely with his last name? Any advice in the name dept would be great. My family really wants the baby to have my last name. i just want whatever is best for my son.

My cousin is pregnant with her first child. She comes and visits me almost everyday because I have 8 mth old twins that she adores. She always comes with something someone told her she shouldn't do while pregnant.

Today she told me her grandmother told her not to eat hot food because it would make her baby blind. How absurd is that!? Do you know of any ridiculous old wives tales about what not to do while pregnant?

We really want to have a baby and we've been trying for 5 mos. now. We're both ok healthwise (the doc said). We observe ovulation charts as well but it just did'nt work. We are both working and tho we try to find time for each other, sometimes i feel we are not getting enough of it. Is there any way that you could help me re: this matter? Pieces of advice, anyone? There are times that i get the chance to read all these "fertility enhancers" pop-ups on the internet but people close to me say maybe these are just scams. What do you think?

i took a urine test 4 times and all showed positive and everyone would say i was bout 2 weeks pregnant which made sense cause i didnt have my period last month but when i went to the hopital and they drew blood they said i was just 3 weeks so techincally i havent even missed a period. im so confused!

I'm not asking this to get preached to about "smoking during pregnancy". It's a question about the baby's weight. I was talking with my mother who went to a "quit smoking" seminar and the person giving it asked how many smoked during pregnancy and if so, were their babies underweight. None of the women (about 5 or 6) who had smoked, had underweight babies. I was 7lbs 6oz and my brother was almost 10lbs.

I'm just curious to know.
