More than are available.... :-)

The first trimester is the hardest exhaustion-wise. Second trimenster, not so bad, and in the third I get tired again. My best advice is to sleep while you can!

I try to get as much restful sleep as possible, especially during the weekdays. A while back someone tried to break into our home and luckily I have an alarm system. Well, that scared my daughter pretty badly and since then, she will slip into bed with me at night. Since I can't sleep well with her in bed with me, I usually try to take a small nap during the day to compensate for the loss of sleep.

If it is your first than take as many as you can get. I remember shrugging off this advice with my first. I wish it was that easy to get rest now I am up to number 3. You should also try and rest during the day if you feel tired. Hope this helps.

As much as she feels like! Pregnancy can be very exhausting! Besides...all that extra sleep will not be available once the baby arrives :)

Atleast eight but I usually settled for as many as I could get. Usually less than 6.
