I don't see any reason why not as long as she stays away from the sharks and jelly fish. Actually swimming is an excersise that is recomended to pregnant women because there is very little stress involved. I loved swimming while I was pregnant. And I love swimming in the ocean.

Well, I would say yes, but pregnant women aren't supposed to soak in a hot tub, and I was told not to take a bath because of the bacteria that can get inside of you. I would assume the bacteria would be worse at the beach. You should consult your OB.

It's dangerous for anyone to swim IN the beach. It is too sandy and hard to get through

Yes, just be careful with strong waves hitting your belly, and worst of all, other swimmers that may accidentally kick you while swimming
