I was having sex just a minute ago and when my husband pulled out there was alot of blood, it was more than the start of a period and it was bright red...my due date is tomorrow also...this is also my first child so i'm a little paniky right now...i labour starting? is something wrong with the baby? i heard that blood can come out if i bruise my uterus or cervix...

I am 38 years old. I have boy/ girl twins from my first marriage and they are 14 years old and starting high school in 2 weeks. I was remarried Aug 31, 2004 and am now very happily married. I always wanted to be a mom and have lots of kids. My twins were partially raised by my parents since I was a single mom fromt he time they were 4 and trying to hold a full time job and save my house that I almost lost in my bad divorce. I am now in a beautiful home, a good marriage and I am pregnant and due 2/2/07. My family isn't happy. My dad says I am crazy for having another baby at my age ( he even swore at me and called me all kinds of names and wont discuss it anymore) my closest aged sister said she doensn't understand why we did this and my other sisters won't talk to me. Isn't your family suppsed to be happy for you during this kind of stuff? My friends have been great and my doctor said everything is going fine and he dosent see any problems......

I know three teen mothers and they were all skinnny or of average weight when they got pregnant.

Now that their babies are a year old, they are not back to their pre-pregnancy weight.

In fact, all three of them are overweight by about 30 lbs.

Why would they be like this when they are so young?

I think its weird that they are gaining weight when their bodies are young enough to "snap back".


And for the record I am 23 years old, married, and have no children.

I am 16 wks pregnant and have horrible sciatic nerve pain on both sides. It is especially painful when I go to bed. The moment I lay down, both nerves feel as though they are being cut!
My doctor's nurses suggest I lay on my left side when lying down, but that's the side that hurts the worst.
It just pretty much hurts on both sides as well as flat on my back. And of course I can't lay on my stomach. Any advice?

I have talked with some girls who graduated around high school around the time I did.

A lot of them have children already and they are about 20-22 years old. Some of them even have TWO children.

The sad thing is that a lot of them are not married or with the babies’ fathers. Some of the guys are not even in contact with the babies.

Why does this seem so common? I live in the city so its not like all there is to do around here is get pregnant.

Only one girl was married and told me her baby was planned. I don’t get how there can be so many young women with accidental pregnancies!

My girl was a couple weeks pregnant and she went to Louisianna with her sister for what was suppose to be a week. But turned out to be longer. She left on the 16 of November and was suppose to be back for Thanksgiving but she stayed until 2 days before Christmas. Everday I talked to her I asked her when she was coming home and she would say that her sister never have time to bring her back and sometimes I felt that she really wanted to come back because the way she got back was she finally took the train back to Mississippi. One day I had asked her how was the baby because It had been a long time since I heard her say anything about the baby so I had asked her and she said everything was fine and one time I asked her and she told me it was a baby no more and that broke my heart because I was looking so forward to it. She told me that she had a miscarriage when she was in Louisanna.

I know this lady that I used to work with and she said that with her second child she never knew she was pregnant until her 8th month. She said that she never got big, her periods came every month, and since her periods were there every month she had no reason to think she was pregnant. She felt no fetal movement the whole time. The way she found out was because she got sick and had to go to the ER. I think she said she had the flu or something, anyway before they gave her the prescription to go home with, she said they did a pregnancy test just to make sure she wasn't pregnant before they gave her the medicine and it ended up being positive! She said when she saw her obgyn he told her that she had a denied pregnancy, that's why she continued having her periods and wasn't experiencing any pregnancy symptoms. Has anyone out there heard of a denied pregnancy? I know that was my first and only time hearing about that.

I am 39 Weeks pregnant and i have pain and numbness in my wrist, hand and fingers. I am convinced it is carpal tunnel syndrome. It hurts really bad at night. Because I am pregnant, i am not too sure about pain pills or getting any type of injection. Please inform me on ways i can treat this without any drugs.

i cheated on my husband on marh 10 usig a condom. then i had a period on march 20-26. i had unprotected sex with my husband on april 8 and 9. but according to my last period my due date is 12/26. which means i was ovulating april 02 and 03. thats a 5 day difference from the 8 and 9. i am really confused because even though i had protected sex with the other man almost a month before and had a period in between my ovulation date does not match up. i was told ovulation is 14-16 days after your period. if i am pregant with my husband that means i ovulated 18 days after my period. if it is the other mans im a month futher a long than my altra sound shows. needless to say im going crazy could my baby belong to the other man?
