Since your only 3 months it may just be gas and your bodys reaction to the foods your eating. your bodys reactions to food is different now because of hormones. I didnt feel my baby till about 4 1/2 months and even my doctor said it might b a little early. Now I am at 5 1/2 months and i can actually see the baby kicking my stomach. Give it a couple more weeks and then you will really know. Also it seems to me that I add my friends all agree that the baby kciks more when we are relaxed. It may just be that we can notice it when we are relaxing because we aren't occupied. But dont worry it will happen and its amazing. Good Luck!!!

No. It's probably gas. Most woman cant feel the baby until the end of the 4th month....and some not until later.
Go get a book called " what to expect when you are expecting" by Heidi Murkoff. It's the pregnancy bible and will help with all these questions. Your question as well as many others that you would not expect is in there. It's excellent in describing all of these little things that worry moms and help distinguish when something is "normal" or not.
Good Luck!

It would be too early in your pregnancy to feel the baby move. He/she is so small right now. Many women actually do mistake gas bubbles and other gastric disturbances for fetal movement. And at any stage in pregnancy stomach troubles are very common. I have ALL of them from nausea, constipation, diarhea, gas, bloating, indigestion and heartburn ALL throughout my pregnancy.
Fetal movement will be a different type of feeling - more fluttery, maybe like bubbles or twitches and will come around the 16th week or later.

It's gas.. gas during pregnancy is soooo different than gas before pregnancy. It is much stronger and typically a lot more often. There is no way you are feeling your baby before 14 weeks pregnant. I am pregnant with twins and felt them at 15 weeks and still it was hard to decipher.
Congratulations on your pregnancy and let me just tell you when you feel the baby move you will know and it is an incredible feeling.

I'm 3 months last week I started having the subtle rolling feeling every so often. Its like a little flip-very odd. Now when its gas the butterflies go left to right and usually I'll get the poots soon after. But with these up and down flip feelings I don't get the poots. I can wait to get a really good feeling, you know one that you know is the baby, so I can compare it to these little subtle feelings.

It's really tough to say that it's the baby because you usually have to be about 4 months along in order for the baby to be strong enough to penetrate you and make you feel him/her. It could be just gas. Does it feel like little butterflies fluttering around? That's what it felt like for me. Maybe you're farther along in your pregnancy than you thought too. Good luck!

It could be gas or it could be the baby moving. In the early stages it is called quickening. But its probably a little of both!

Maybe just gas. My first time feeling it was around 13 weeks. They were like little twitches. Feels kinda weird cause you'll feel them in different places. Congratulations!
