At your next Dr. app't, ask to get into a class for moms-to-be, where you'll practice breathing. I even used the breathing exercises while at the dentist to relax myself. You'll do just fine.
Ask yourself, what's the worst that can happen? Not able to breathe? It's a hospital with oxygen. You're fine.
May I add that panic attacks are not about 'growing up'. I think they're just something that sensitive people sometimes get. One can be in their 30's and 40's and get panic attacks. Good luck to you.

You need to tell your doctor about your anxiety. Second, talk to your mom or if she isn't available the woman you are closest to in your life that is a mother. They will explain in detail about child birth and tell you the good and the bad. They will help you work through this. Third, you will hopefully be giving birth in a hospital, if you stop breathing they will put you on a ventilator. Or you will pass out and start breathing again because breathing is involuntary. You will be OK. Also, see a counselor you don't want to have a panic attack every time something goes wrong with your baby. Don't flip out over a fever or a bump or a rash. Please see a counselor or a pastor. I am praying for you.

Child Birth is only strssful if you let it Don't go into the Delivery room with issues. This is something that you can, do your body was made to carry a baby, Your body was made to deliver. My advice is to leave all negativity outside. OR make sure that you have someone reassuring with you

my sister had anxiety attacks also.so i know what you mean. i really dont know what you can do. with my sister she had to be on presription drugs to ease her attacks. i know thats not an option for you now but best talk to your doctor about this situation before you have to give birth and talk about your options about giving birth. i hope you do good and that you and your baby have a happy ending. juat keep calm and try to relax. its hard while being pregnant and for every 1st time mom itll be scary but your baby will love you and trust you no metter what. after all your its mother and your best instinct is to love and protect it. congrats!

You need serious help.
If you truly are pregnant, you need to do some growing up in the next nine months.
Yes, childbirth is painful, but people have been doing it for centuries! If it were that bad, none of us would be here.
Time to stop worrying about you and focusing on the baby.
If you're not pregnant, don't plan on it anytime soon.

You should tell your doctor about this. I thought I would panic too but I just educated myself on childbirth and took alot of childbirthing classes and once it came down to it, I knew what I had to do and I was fine. Please tell your doctor of these concerns. And check your hospital for classes.
