Yes, you could be unlucky and have it the whole pregnancy! With a bit of luck it will start to ease off and then you can look forward to indigestion, swelling hands and feet etc. Hope not though!

Some women have really bad morning sickness thier whole pregnancy. It is called hyper mesis I believe. I didn't stop the throwing up until I was about 5 months. If its constant and your really dehydrated because of it ask your doctor about a drug called Zofran. Its anti nasuea medication orginially designed for cancer patients and now they are giving it to pregnant women too. It's the only reason I could still maintain my job the first 5 months of my pregnancy.

Yes, some people get "morning sickness" through the whole pregnancy and it doesn't always come in the morning. Try eating some plain crackers before getting up out of bed or just lightly snacking throughout the day. Good luck to you and your baby!!!

Doctors can always be wrong...why do you think they have mal-practice insurance. Though morning sickness usually subsides by the 4th month, some woman experience it throughout their pregnancy and some never experience it or only very little.

yes. Although most woman do get relief by 4 months......you may be one of the unlucky ones.......
Go get a book called " what to expect when you are expecting" by Heidi Murkoff. It's the pregnancy bible and will help with all these questions. Your question as well as many others that you would not expect is in there. It's excellent in describing all of these little things that worry moms and help distinguish when something is "normal" or not.
Good Luck!

Oh, they all say that it usually goes away after the first trimester but there is no way to tell. Every woman is different. I was sick the whole nine months with my first and now with the second I am fine after almost the 2nd trimester. Your doctor does not have any way of pin pointing this.

the doctor can be wrong and at the same time cant be.u know that whatever the doctors suggest is from their good medical background and experience.whatever the doctor has suggested u try that for about a week and see if it works or not if it doesn't work then try consulting another doctor and figure out that ur previous doctor was right or wrong

I am on my third pregnancy and have gotten sick the entire nine months with all of them. Your doctor is crazy to think that you can't have it the entire time. He probably meant that statistically you should be starting to feel better soon cause I never did.
