My friend Eddie and his family are from the Philipines, and he told me that his mother had told him pregnant women in the PLilipines do not go out at night bacause "they" need the babys blood. She didn't say who, just "they". She said that when she was pregnant she never went out at night, because of the superstition. Every night while she was pregnant she said she heard clawing and scraping on her roof. Is this true?

What do you think about not giving a woman an epidural or any pain medication and then telling her not to make any noise during labor and delivery? I was in labor for 19 hours before I took the epidural and there was nothing silent about it!

I am 37 weeks pregnant and whenever I use the bathroom I notice clumps of white discharge in the toilet, can anyone explain if this is normal and if this is little bits of my mucus plug coming out at a time or what is going on. Thank you.

This is my second pregnancy. I was induced with my first. Currently I am 2cm dilated and -1 station.

I'm going to the beach this weekend and I'd like to go swimming while I'm out there. It's going to be too hot for me to stay where I live on Saturday and it'll still be pretty warm at the beach and I really just feel like cooling off in the surf but I'm afraid that something like the salt in the water or something will hurt my baby. I'm 16 weeks pregnant right now so ... I don't know if that makes any difference or anything. Let me know plz!

I was supposed to get my period on Monday (it is now Thursday evening) and I am usually really regular. I have been al little nauseous in the evenings for the past 2 wks. I started having some light spotting about 3 hours ago but have not started my actual period. Do you think I am probably pregnant or should I give it a little more time now that I am starting to spot?

I am only 12 weeks and 5 days pregnant. As I was lying on my bed, I put pressure on my abdomen to see if I was goin to feel my baby move. Few seconds later, I felt something. A very small kick, not so sure if it was my baby or my stomach gurgling. Can it possibly be my baby?

The past week I've been feeling sick and my breasts are starting to swell and I'm feeling very bloated. My stomach feels very stange and I'm getting alot of clear to white discharge. The last time i got my period started on June 3rd....I've had dry sex with my boyfriend but eventually he took his pants off and mine..and jus kept doing that but never stuck it into my vagina.....he eventually busted but not on me...but maybe a very lil on the outside of my vagina i really dont know....i did this on july 10th....i still havent gotten my period either...and today is the 20th ....i took a preg test on the 15th but it came out negative....should i be worried that i could be pregnant still..?
