it's not a good idea, listen I've done it, bad idea. i was 2 weeks b4 my due date and i was dialated to a 3 and had contractions all flipping day long so i went into the hospital and the nurse checked me and said we'll keep you for 1 hour and if nothing has changed we're sending you home. so i asked if i could walk around and they said sure, but don't leave this floor. Man i practically ran to the stairs and for the next hour I walked up and down 4 flights of stairs----I did not want to go home, I was having that baby now or going drop dead of exhaustion----so i went back and the nurse checked me and I was diallated to a 4 so I could stay. I was in labor all night and when the doctor checked me in the morning I was only at a 5, he couldn't beleive it, it was my second kid I should have progressed a lot faster. After she was born her temperature was low and her glucose level was low and they would not let me brestfeed her and almost put her in the ICU. she weighed only 5 lbs 13oz. So if you want the baby to come early please consider that you may put your babies health at risk. I know i will never do it again!

The only way to make a baby come early is if your doctor induces you and they will not do that in less you are over your due date or thier is something wrong with you or the baby.
I was induced at 35 weeks because I had a really high blood preasure which could of been harmful to the baby and if your child is born before 35 weeks it usually ends up in the NICU, hell my son was 35 weeks and was in the NICU for two weeks.

It's not very smart to make the baby come early the baby will come when it's ready. If the baby comes to early it could suffer respiratory problems because the lungs aren't mature enough. Or the baby might have feeding issues, low birth weight or other issues just be patient and let the baby come when nature calls.

They can induce you which will cause you to go into labor, but you really should never try to make the baby come early without the consult of a doctor.

DO NOT- DO NOT-DO NOT TRY TO MAKE YOUR BABY COME EARLY!!!!!!! Not only is it a bad idea for you, but also for the baby. Don't take it on just my medical background, but also from a personal one too.
I had a 36 weeker. She was IUGR, and small for her gestational age- wieghed what a 32 weeker should have. Her lungs weren't developed and she ended up having to be sent to a bigger hospital with a NICU. She was on a ventilator for 24 hrs and then only on room air. She came home almost a month after she was born. We were lucky. There are many babies born early who don't do so well.
There is a possibility that not only the lungs won't be developed, but the brain enough to survive without ventilation and lots of medical support, there is a possibility of brain bleeds, blindness, deafness, brain damage from lack of oxygen, growth retardation, and a host of other problems.
Just be thankful that you aren't in labor with a preterm baby. It is one of the worst things to happen to a women who has a baby. Please, for your sake and your babies, don't try anything to start your labor until your due date.

I heard that a baby is considered full term at 37 weeks. I know the 3rd trimester is a drag, but it's better if you let things happen naturally. Just think...the longer the baby stays in your belly, the healthier your baby is when he/she is born.

You don't unless your doctor induces you. Coming early can be dangerous for your little one especially in regards to the lungs. Br patient. I know it seems like the longest 9 months ever.
