Pregnancy - July 2006

I am 24 weeks pregnant. For the past couple days I have felt cramping in my lower and mid stomach that almost feels like menstrual cramps. I don't think it's Braxton-Hicks because it lasts for hours, not just a few minutes. In fact last night I could only get it to go away by taking Tylenol, something I don't like to do very often. Do any mommies (or mommies-to-be) have any ideas what this could be? Should I go see my doctor?

When I was 5 months pregnant with my son, I had an allergic reaction to a shampoo that I use before I was pregnant and up until that point in which case I then had an allergic reaction. It caused me to be allergic to the hormones that I was producing while I was pregnant. It looked and felt like poison ivy from head to toe. It itched really bad. It was gone within an hour after I had my son except for the scars. I was just wondering how common it was. I'm now pregnant with my second son and i'm 30 weeks and nothing like that has happened again. And I have REALLY sensitive skin now.

I have just found out I'm pregnant. I stopped the Pill 2 months ago. I told a family member in confidence about it and it got round to a couple more people in my family. Cue lots of rows and lectures about throwing my life away, waiting years until I'm older, etc, etc. There were some valid reasons, money being the main one. So last week my boyfriend and I decided to wait for a while until we had a bit more money. But now it seems the decision has been made for us.

The thing is, I don't know if I'm pleased or not. My boyfriend didn't seem to be. I was shaking when the line appeared. It was faint but it was definitely there. I'm going to do another test but I think it will be positive as well. I feel scared because I don't know how we're going to handle the money side of things. I'm excited as well because it's what we're dreamed of. I feel so confused. Is this normal? Have other people been in a similar situation to us? What did you do?

Something really weird happened to me 2 nights ago, my husband and i have been trying to conceive for 4 months now, this month being the 4th...i started my last period on the 25th June my cycle is 28days long i am regular which means i should be next starting my period around the 22nd July...on the 12th July i had sex with my husband and after i wiped myself i saw a bit of light pink blood so faint i just about noticed it this has never happened to me before....could this have been implantation bleeding as i ovulated on the 8th...i am 5 days past ovulation day when this happened...i have also been having mild cramps in my lower stomach for the past few days too....has this ever happened to anyone before?

So far my wife has not been successful in conceiving and it seems the guess is that her tube is slightly bent as advised by doctor.

I am 15 weeks pregnant. And lately i am having a hard time breathing. It feels like my lungs just aren't expanding enough. It is even worse when I lay down.

I have been having problems with my pregnacy from the beging and was just told today that my baby is not getting the proper nurishments that it needs from me. This is because I have been unable to keep anything down. I feel I should push the issue of my doctor delivering early but I don't know. I think even though I know she will be premature she will get the care that she needs outside since I am unable to provide what she needs.

I had an ultrasound that told me i was 5 weeks pregnant when the dr thought i was further along. She had origonaly set a due date of oct 24th but after the ultrasound moved it to nov 16. Now im 22 weeks along and measuring at 26 weeks. Could the untrasound i had early on be wrong for my due date?

I am seven months pregnant and I am now living in the forth storey of my apartment (without elevator). I have 3 other small children age between 5 and 2 and I don`t think I can spend some days after birth at any other places. Is it okay to climb stairs the day after giving birth? Will it hurt if I have an episotomy?

Do you think or did this happen to you? Do you think walking and sex really puts you into labor or could it be superstition? I am due anyday now but, i keep walking and having sex but, i just get contractions does it mean the baby aint ready to come out. And everyonce in awhile do i need to do it all over again and maybe it will be labor or what i really do get contractions by walking and having sex but i want labor not contractions because the hospital keeps sending me back home. So basically im asking will the baby come when he is ready rather i walk or not or is he ready i just have to keep walking and hoping for labor and not false labor (contractions)...
