When I was ready to have my son, the doctor told me and my ex husband to have as much sex as we could, that the protien from the semen would help break down the mucas plug, there fore helping it along.

The baby is going to come when it is ready - not what you do.
Walking will only help move things along if you're already in labor. The sex angle - it is just a superstition, but a hell of a lot of fun. You will be in labor when your water breaks, and then it will all move along. I went to the hospital and back a total of 6 times - I know the feeling of being anxious about the baby being born. Just relax - that is the best thing you will be able to do to move things along.

Baby is not ready and will not come until he/she is ready. My daughter was over due they admitted her and gave her something to induce labor. Nothing happened except she got some cramps. That little boy did not come for a full week. He just was not ready.
BTW the sex thing is fun but a myth. The walking is truth it is very good for you and for the baby but especially for you so keep it up

Your baby will come when it's ready. You can walk all you want but I don't think it will make a difference. I know the anticipation is killing you and you want the baby out but it will come when he or she is ready. If your close to your due date, don't be afraid to ask for patossin to start the labor next time you go in to the hospital.

I know how hard it is to wait. But from experience, take these last few days to RELAX! You won't get another opportunity for the rest of your life once the baby is born. I'm not kidding. Even w/ babysitters you wonder. So just take it easy. these are your last few days of peace and napping at will and getting into the car w/o a ceremony of preparation. May I say again. RELAX!

Know what i did when I got to that point?
I did a ton of jumping jacks. It worked for me. Sounds crazy but it actually worked. The sex didn't work.

there is no black and white answer. each woman's pregnancy is completely unique. try not to overthink things. your baby is going to be here any day now, regardless of what you do or don't do, so just enjoy the experience and let nature take its course.

You're "due anyday now" and you're still having sex? Be careful, you might poke a hole in your kids head.
