I have a 10 month old son, and just found out yesterday that I am pregnant again(only 4 weeks). I am excited to have another baby, but I think I am a little in shock. I was not expecting this, we had planned to space our kids about 2 1/2 years apart. Owell. The problem is, I still have about 15 lbs to lose from the previous pregnancy. I gained 50 the first time, and really really don't want to do that again. I started working out about two months ago, 2-4 times a week. I want to continue to do this. I am not talking about dieting or anything, I eat healthy already. What is the safest way to excersise, I guess it isn't so important that I lose weight...just that I don't gain more. Please let me know if you have experienced this, or if you have any advice. Thanks.

ok i had a post asking about getting pregnant on my period, and from all the research and advice from ppl it's kinda hard to believe that i'm not?! well it's been a week and i dunno if it's too soon to tell. I would take a blood test but i dont have the money for that right now. so how much longer should i wait to take a urine test? i'm tempting to go get one now but if i do i feel like it could be non accurate. advice is highly appreciated!

My girlfriend has been taking the birth control pill for about 5 months, and we used a condom. She has not missed any days, and takes the pill at the same time (within 5 minutes) every night. I also did not ejaculate during intercourse. What are the chances for pregnancy using dual contraception methods?

IWas in my favourite restaurant in town the other day and i had to suddenly walk out to be sick in the road after drinking 2 milkshakes and publicans were staring at me as i brought everything up not asking me if i were okay while my partner patted my back..... just though this would be a fun thing to ask those whom are expecting and those new to motherhood, what is your embarassing moment?

I had my son on Wednesday and then a tubal ligation on Thursday. I came home Friday afternoon and by evening time, my ankles and feet had swollen. Is this normal? The swelling seems worse than when I was pregnant and I'm having a hard time getting it to go away. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I HAVE THIS FRIEND WHO IS 12 WEEKS AND STILL SMOKING. SHE SAYS THAT SHE IS GONNA QUIT NEXT WEEK COLD TURKEY. I WAS JUST WONDERING IF QUITTING JUST LIKE THAT WILL HURT THE BABY. LIKE PUT IT IN SHOCK OR SOMETHING. I SEEN THIS WEBSITE THAT SAID IT WOULDN'T HURT THE BABY AND QUITTING LIKE THAT IS THE BEST THING TO DO. I WANT SOME ANSWERS FROM WOMEN WHO DID SMOKE AND QUIT LIKE THAT. WHAT HAPPENED?

I know that it's common for OB/GYN's to telll women how drinking castor oil and other 'old wives tales' can be dangerous for their babies. So why would you be in such a hurry to not be pregnant that you are willing to risk harm to your baby?

Well, I have a 14 year old neice she started getting active (Horny) when she was 12 and when she was about to turn 14 (still 13) she found out that she was pregnant. She is 14 now and 7 or 8 months Pregnant. The Dad is 16 and irrisponsible. He doesn't want anything to do with his baby. He's always is with other girls and this makes my neice very mad. I am the only one that she talks to and what I say doesn't seem to help. What can I say?

I STARTED SPOTTING TONIGHT AND WENT TO THE HOSPITAL. WELL, THEY HAD 12 CAR WRECK VICTIMS AND COULDN'T GET TO ANYBODY. THEY SENT ME HOME AND SAID IF IT GETS WORSE FOR ME TO COME BACK. THE BLEEDING IS VERY, VERY LIGHT, BUT SHOULD I STILL WORRY. I HAD A MISCARRIAGE BACK IN FEB. OF THIS YEAR. THAT IS WHY I AM SO SCARED. WHAT I WANT TO KNOW IS, IS THERE ANY WOMEN OUT THERE THAT WAS LIKE THIS WHEN THEY WERE PREGNANT?

If a woman is 21, married, an owner of a large, brand new home, a college student, and desires to have a newborn child, should she be able to have one? She is financially and emotionally able to provide a child with a stable and happy home. What do you think???
