Well, I have a 14 year old neice she started getting active (Horny) when she was 12 and when she was about to turn 14 (still 13) she found out that she was pregnant. She is 14 now and 7 or 8 months Pregnant. The Dad is 16 and irrisponsible. He doesn't want anything to do with his baby. He's always is with other girls and this makes my neice very mad. I am the only one that she talks to and what I say doesn't seem to help. What can I say?

Well I think you must be old enough to explain to your niece that this is not her age to raise a child. It would be better if she gives her child for adoption. It would be best for her and the baby. Otherwise how will she support the child. She herself is a kid.
I hope everything turns out for the best for your niece. I wish her all the best for her future. Tell her to take care and be sensible.

"The dad is 16 and irrisponsible"...duh...he's 16. I don't know any kid at 16 who isn't. What I would like to know is where are HIS parents?
As for your niece, she is also still a child. All you can do is be there for her. Let her know that life does go on and this is not a mistake but a surprise. Mistakes are regrets. Life is not regrettable even with a 14 year old who's pregnant. A surprise is beautiful. She is creating something worthy of love, devotion, attention.
But I would also get her enrolled into some parenting classes for teen mothers. Take her to Planned Parenthood or her doctor to discuss birth control for the future. And possibly even a psychologist for therapy. There is usually an underlying reason WHY a child is having sex.

The boy obviously doesnt care for her or the baby they created. She is still a child...she needs to give the baby up for adoption. So she can finish school and get a good education. How is she planning to support this baby?? Even if the father is forced to give child support, how much money can a 16 y/o boy make, I mean really???

You can say what one of my friends said to another: She came back from Australia and had us round for dinner and put the whole weird long-distance lurve dilemna out there, and asked if she should emigrate or invite her unfaithful lover to join her and immigrate, or what? She asked us all what should be her primary consideration.
One guy, fairly new to the gang of us, spoke out, rather unexpectedly, and frankly, to point out that;
"He doesn't love you. At all."
I would recommend having a good friend with a very sincere voice to deliver this news to her. It's what she does need to hear to move on and make realistic decisions. HIre an actor who admires Ian McKellan if possible. She really does need to know this, and he - her former lover - is clearly not man enough to tell her.

u can offer to help take care of the baby while the kid is in schol . but she needs to know it is her responsibality to raise the baby so it want make the same mistake she did.
where r the parents of your niece should they be concerned with this instead of you.
its also illeegal for a 16 year old to have sex with a 13 year old you should sue him for child supportuntil the baby graduate from college

Where are the parents of both of this kids? This girl is still a baby! her parents had to have that talk with her this is 2006 not 1906. parents have to keep it real with there kids now a days.

It sounds like she is into Electornics, so here is what i would do based on what you said. Cell phone Acessories (like cover or face changes, a blinking anntena etc.), iPod- diffrent covers, downloads. For a digitial camera, try a graphics card, cases for the camera and equipment, and try to see what she already has, and build from there.
