YES!! I had a period for three months into my second pregnancy. Fortunately mine was caused by something minor but having your period while pregnant can be serious not only for you but you could be depriving the baby of oxygen and nutrients. Please go to the doctor for a blood test right away! (home kits can be wrong but a blood test isn't)

Yes, you can! some women do ovulate when they are bleeding (which may not actually be a menstrual period). If you have a consistent menstrual cycle, with several days of bleeding every 27 to 31 days, you probably can't get pregnant during your period. However, if your cycle is irregular, you may mistake some bleeding for a period; if this is the case, you should consider yourself fertile at any time during your cycle. If your period lasts more than a week, you could possibly become pregnant if you engage in sexual intercourse toward the end of your period.
The days just after the end of your period can be the most fertile days of your cycle.
Unexpected bleeding can also be caused by small increases or decreases in your hormone levels. Because of this, artificial hormones (such as birth control pills, the Depo-provera "birth control shot", and Norplant) can interfere with your cycle. It can take your body several months to get back to normal after you are no longer exposed to these hormones.
How many days does your period last?
1. The longer you bleed, the greater the likelihood that you would 'conceive' (get pregnant) while on your period
Do you have irregular cycles? (That is, you're never really sure when your next period might happen)
1. This can increase the chance of getting pregnant on your period.
How many days do you have between periods?
1. (That is, from the first day of one period to the day before your next period.)
2. The shorter the time between periods, the greater the chance is that you would conceive (get pregnant) while on your period.
Remember! Sperm can live up to SIX days in a woman's body.
1. Your most fertile days (ovulation) occur 12-16 days before your NEXT period.
2. For more details to help judge your personal risk see also When am I Fertile? (Fertility Awareness)
Good Luck and God Bless!

Yes, you can have a period and still be pregnant. It is uncommmon, but does happen. The periods should be lighter with little or no clots. Most of these periods are shorter as well. Good Luck!!

anytime you have sex there is a chance that you can get pregnant; regardless of whether or not you are on your period.
