because 1st of all a woman need enough milk to support her baby and second of all the food a woman eats is passed on to her baby and remember she and her baby is gaining weight that is why she gains weight

There are many reasons, there are women that feel that they have gained so much weight with the pregnancy and got use to eating whatever they wanted, when they wanted it, and did not do any exercises, that by the time they give birth, they do not know how to return to their eating habits before they were pregnant and start exercising. I think that is the main reason... . I mean, others suffer depression because of all the weight, especially if they give birth in the summer.... it is all a matter of devoting yourself to change your eating habits after giving birth and exercising and women would go back to their prebirth weight and could even lose more if they simply devoted themselves to do so.. I am a mother of two, and after I was well enough I started working out and eating right and the baby fat slowly but eventually did disappear...

a regular exercise as advised by doctor, regular food , regular feeding of milk to child and excess milk in your breast should not be their ( for which consult doctor how to main empty breast ) will keep your weight in tact, i had seen 2 childrens mother who was maintining her body as maintained before marriage

She needs energy to feed the babies and she is used to eating so many extra carbs and calories, it's hard to get back on track.

contrary to ones beliefs they can't help that..that is why post partum depression really gets out of control
you get fat from being preggy then suffer from it..very sad..
