My daughter is unfortunatly colic. Shes 1 month old. She usually cries for about 3-5 hours a day. Ive tried the gas drops for infants and they arent working. Ive tried changing her formula but she ended up throwing up all the time so I went back to Similac with Iron. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions and/or edvice for me. Im so exhusted and I get really emotional with her crying because I cant help her. I just dont know what to do. Id really apprieciate the responses! Thanks

I have a daughter who will be one years old on August 2. Recently she has developed symptoms that seems a little weird to me. She will bang her head against her crib, and it doesn't seem to affect her. She use to be a pretty quiet baby, but now she just yells... periodically. And she hits herself upside her head sumtimes, but only on the right side though( thought this might have been an ear infection trait). She has a doctor's appt. on the 10 of August but I don't want to wait that long to ask her doctor (her doctor is hardly ever there, or seem to be busy). Could this be autism? Can anyone help me or give me sum kind of clue what is going on with her? I am a concerned mom and am only asking for sumone to help, please don't leave sly or ignorant comments.

My 10-month old is so squirmy, it is so hard to change his poppy diapers sometimes. Yesterday he rolled and got poop all over his feet and legs. I use the straps and try toys...etc. He can roll even with the strap. I try to be firm and tell him no each time. He always wants to play with the wipes. Today I put him on the floor and held his arms with my feet and it seemed to go a little better (i.e. he wasn't wearing poo afterwards). Does anyone have any tips??

My son is six months old. I nurse him 5-6 times a day and in between nursing sessions he has cereal(6-7 tbsp), fruit, veggie (3 tbsp each) . Is this a lot? I want to nurse him until he is a year and a half. But now a days he nurses so quickly (he's usually done in 10 min) that I am afraid my milk might dry up. Please help.

I had my son circumcised when he was born and they put this little plastic cap on the end of his penis that completely covered up the head. Now the cap has fell off and the skin still covers most of the head. You can only see the head if you look at it from the end opening, I can take my thumb and forefinger and pull the skin back and it kind of seats in behind the head, but should I leave it like this? Also the head is purple. I thought by now it should be pink? My neighbor had her son circumcised and his isnt like this. His penis head is pink and the head is completely exposed.

My son is 11 months old today. I took his bottle away when he was about 8 1/2 months to 9 months and he has adjusted really well. i had no problem with getting him to take a cup and never cried for his bottle. His binkie on the other hand is his secruity and he is attached to it really bad. So my question is how old was your child when you took the binkie away completely. How did you go about doing it.

My fiance just had her 2nd girl and its my first. She told me that she never had this problem with her first daughter and isn't sure why she is having the problems now. I do my best to help her with the baby. I work 1st shift and when I come home I feed her and change her and everything else to give her some relief. I believe she is having PPD and it seems to get worse as the days go. Is there anything else that I am able to do to help her? Should I call her doctor and see if there is anything else they can do?

who does this offend?keep in mind thats what breasts are for and its very natural, why some people get offended?to say it is obscene is your own misconception i believe,if you think it is a sexual thing then your the one screwed up,in other words,we see dogs and cats nursing but when a human mother is nursing, why do some get offended,i dont get it?(i read an article on this and couldnt believe how many people were offended by something so natural)

times, he'll just drive me bonkers, wanting something, and I don't know what. I'm going to have to go back to work soon, and I'd really like some good advice about this, so my husband and I don't both have to go to work tired. Thanks so much.

My baby is 22lbs and currently wears the size 3 pampers cruisers which should fit till she is 28lbs, but they are tight around her chubby little legs and loose on the backside. If I move up to size 4, they will be more comfy around her legs, but won't they be really large in the back?

She wakes at 6:30am, naps from 8-10am, naps from 1-3pm, and goes to bed at 6:30pm. I've heard that at some point, babies stop taking that morning nap. When does that happen, and when it does, do the afternoon naps get longer?

I'm still pondering whether I should take the bumpers out of my 5 month old's crib since I find her up against the bumper so many times during the night. I do know what is recommended as it concerns SIDS, but I'm wondering from a Mom's standpoint what I should do. My 5 month old is soooo active at night and ends up everywhere in the crib. I find myself not sleeping well because I'm worried she is up against the bumper. However, when we took the crib bumper out last night, it just looked so open and I was worried she would stick her leg or arm out and get frustrated because she couldn't get herself out of the slat and break something! We put it immediately back in! Thanks in advance! Oh, she can turn over ...both ways.
