Instead of a stroller, what about using a sling or other type of baby carrier? I think that would be a easier than trying to push a stroller on a dirt road. There are slings called ABC or Mei Tais in which you tie the baby to your back. Or, you could use a backpack/hiking carrier.

If you will definitely be using a stroller often on dirt roads, I'd go with one of the all-terrain ones that have sturdier wheels. I don't know a brand name, but I know they exist.

Good luck!

i would say a jogger. I have a Graco stroller, and it's best function is shopping on tile or flat carpet. It doesn't do very well when walking on sidewalks or streets around the neighborhood. Don't forget to find one that has a front wheel that swivels. The kind that both lock into a straight position and swivel are great!

A jogging stroller is the best fro a dirt road or rocks i have had booth and the regular stroller dosen't work at all for dirt. They have the jogging ones now with the carsest combo. I wish I had invested in one and not spent money on a regualr stroller.

Go with the jogger. Their wheels are bigger and made for more hardy terrain. Regular strollers are a pain to push through grass and gravel.

JOGGER!!!!!!!!! A regular stroller will get hung-up on everything, i have one and i will not take it on any kind of terrain except smooth. a jogger helps you keep the stroller smooth and steady and wont keep hitting you in the gut all along the way.

Get the one with the biggest wheels. We live off a gravel road and the stroller has nice big wheels. Works great

We used a TREK bike trailer/stroller that has bicycle wheels. It rolls over rocks and bumps with ease and has a good seat belt / harness for the kids. It seats either one or two. Plus it has a cargo area in the back. It is big, but the wheels come off to fit into a trunk.
