my dad had me young, really young (14) and i wasnt named for like 3months because my mother left when i was 1 month, so my dad didnt no what to name me, and when he was really drunk on night he made up the name keiyotiey. what do you think of the name? im 15 now, and hardly anyone can ever spell my name, because of the I befor E except after C rule, when mine is Keiyotiey. and no one can ever say it right, unless i tell them. where australia by the way.

what type of teenager do you think this name suits, like what type of person does the name make you picture?

I am looking for some baby names that are uncommon, I like a lot of "gothic" names, and I am just looking for some names that maybe I have not herd of, or over looked in my searches. So far I think that Xavier, Logan, Raine, Autumn, Drake (or Draco) are my top choices so far. We're having another girl! I need name help. I like names that aren't too weird (Names like Peaches Honeyblossom are too much.) My other girl's name is Bethany Autumn...it's unusual but easy on the ears. So, if we could keep with that general trend, that'd be great. Any ideas? I really will name my kid the name if you give me a good one.

The little boy we are applying to adopt's name is George pronounced with the last e as a short e, like Georgeh He is very young and so we could change it if we chose to but we are both torn about the name. We have talked about the fact that he will forever be correcting people's pronouncation of his name. Neither my husband or I are one for unsual names so but it is the name his mother gave give.. We are so torn and would love to hear some opinions.

My husband and I are expecting our first child (boy) in February. We both like the name Weston, but are not 100% set on that as a final choice. Here are a few combinations we have come up with so far...

Kevin Weston (Kevin = hubby's name / baby would go by Weston)
Weston Tucker (Tucker is my Grandparents last name)
Weston Parker (Parker is from "Lake Parker" - where my husband proposed to me.)

Feel free to tell us what you think or give us any other suggestions! We want to stay away from common names such as David or Michael, and would also prefer to not have any names that start with the letter 'J'.

I'm thinking about naming my daughter April in the event of which I have one. what do you think?

I think I want to name her April because I think it is a very creative name (not the first one ofcourse but) and I love the month of April myself. Also it is a very rare name. It is not too out there and not too under the radar.

my mom keeps sending me lists of baby names, and she got me a baby name book which she rated the names with stars & blacked out some of them entirely (so they're unreadable)...
and when i told her the names we were considering, she basically said "no, those won't do" and has continued trying to push names on us.
should i just smile & nod, and (of course) name the baby what we decide, or should i say something more to her? if so, what?
