Something feminine please; and length does not matter, as the last name is quite short.

Hello. I am wondering what would be a good (not common) middle name for a girl named Janelle? Could you leave me your suggestions?

Please no Sarah, Lynn, Marie, Nicole, Rose, or Renee. I see a lot of these names since I work in the school system.

I found out yesterday that I am having a boy and was really excited! I called my Dad and told him the news. He asked me what my husband and I were thinking of naming him and when I told him that we were wanting. He got mad that we were not naming the baby after him. The name we chose is Johnathon Robert after my husband and his father. Should I be offended that he is angry we chose not to make our son his namesake? Could part of it have to do with the fact that our son is the first Grandson on both sides of the family? Help?

I'd like my daughter to have her grandmother's initials which are P.A. So far considering Penelope Anne and Princess Amoneea. Which do you like best or suggest another?

Ok my husband (Lorenzo) is spanish so we are looking for names that sound good pronounced in both languages (hopefully you know what I mean). So if we have a boy, it will be Lorenzo (need a middle name) and Lara is our last name. But i really want a girl. I have some names picked out. Here they are:

Serena
Lilliana
Reyna
Reya
Amaya
Zoe (the newest name on my list - I know it's not near spanish - but my husband's nickname is Zo)...What do you think of these names and can you give me any suggestions for middle name for the boy? Thanks in advance!!!

Recently I answered the question "What names have you chosen for your baby?" My answer was Brooklynn Elizabeth. After I gave my answer, the same person asked, "Why do people name their children after places?" She then continued to say that she was from Brooklyn and named her dog Brooklyn, but would never name a person after a place, that its tacky, etc. Personally, I would never criticize a name choice. In our situation, a really good friend of ours was killed in a car accident last January. His name is Nate, but he moved here from Brooklyn when he was 12, and ALWAYS talked about Brookly, so years ago, that became his nickname. When we found out in June that we were having a baby, we both knew we wanted to honor our friend, and immediately chose the names Nathan and Brooklynn in his honor. So, although I'm not generally sensitive to criticism, this really hurt me. Please be sensitive to other's name choices, you never know why they are choosing the name...
