I just found out i am having twin boys and i'm having some trouble picking names. I like Cameron and Conner but I have been cautioned against using two names so similar...so I'm looking for suggestions.

i like cameron but conner is a little ...eh. whats wrong with using two names that sound alikie? they're cool. you should try cameron and casey? maybe? and if by chance they come out to be girls, alexi and alexa or a boy and a girl, alex and alexi.(i love names that start with alex) brody sounds nice for a boy too

They are cute names, but they are too close for my personal tastes. You could use one of them as a middle name. Personally, I would use Cameron as a middle name because it's becoming a girl's name, unfortunately. How about giving them reversed initials?
Conner George and Gavin Cameron
Conner Thomas and Theodore Cameron
Conner Brian and Brennan Cameron
You could go with the same initials, but with completely different sounds, like:
Conner and Charles
Conner and Cyrus
Conner and Chad
Conner and Cyril
Or different initials that sound similar, like:
Conner and Kieran
Conner and Keegan
Conner and Kevin
Or names that come from the same ethnicity, like:
Conner and Fionn
Conner and Declan
Conner and Lachlan
Conner and Ryan

Cameron and Conner are very cute and I don't think they are too similar. The only thing in common is initial sound not that bad! I like your choice!

Cameron & Connor - not bad. At least they aren't way too similar. I prefer different letters.
Cameron I would drop - girls are stealing this too much Any name that girls start taking over, I don't like for boys. Some make me sad, like Cameron, Rowan, etc.
Also, Conner looks funny with the e, much better with the or.

Cameron and Conner are cute..but if you are afraid of naming them so similar then try spelling them different like Kameron or Kamrin and Conner or Conor

I think Cameron and Conner are great names.
I dont think the two names are that similar and I think for twins it is always cool when their names are similar.
I think... regardless of what your children's names are, you are going to mess them up or call one the wrong name.
In my Family we have a Jeff, Jenny and Sheri..I was called Jenny or vice versua and there were times.. my poor brother would be called one of us. oops. When Mom & Dad are mad they are not always thinking straight..:)
So if that was the reason you were cautioned... I would not be concerned.

I think you should try to find names that are similar, but not too much alike. Like first try not to have them start with the same letter. Like Conner and Ian, or Cameron and Braden. Good luck.
