Ok my husband (Lorenzo) is spanish so we are looking for names that sound good pronounced in both languages (hopefully you know what I mean). So if we have a boy, it will be Lorenzo (need a middle name) and Lara is our last name. But i really want a girl. I have some names picked out. Here they are:

Serena
Lilliana
Reyna
Reya
Amaya
Zoe (the newest name on my list - I know it's not near spanish - but my husband's nickname is Zo)...What do you think of these names and can you give me any suggestions for middle name for the boy? Thanks in advance!!!

Okay so another thing - would Zoe be a good name for a grown up? Or is it just cute for babies???

I understand I'm spanish and need names that my parents and grandparents can pronounce!lol
I like Liliana and Amaya the best, they sound so pretty in BOTH languages.

As for a boys name
I like Noah, Isaiah, Javier, Sergio and Matteo (If you want spanish names for a boy too).
Good Luck!!! :-)

those are all beautiful names a middle name for the boy
Lorenzo Esteban Lara.....thats much easier to say then a lot of other names i put with Lorenzo Lorenzo Manuel Lara

I would go with Liliana Rey best of two names if you don't want a traditional Spanish middle name many firstborn boys take the first name of the maternal grandfather as the middle name

and you could always use Zoe as a nickname, its cute but when i think of baby names how is it gonna sound when she is 60. not much better then Jessica. good luck

For the boy, Lorenzo is a cool name...For middle names: Lorenzo Miguel Lara, Lorenzo Felipe Lara...Felipe and Miguel flow very beautifully with Lorenzo and Lara I think.

For the girl I like Lilianna...it goes with Lara and it goes with Lorenzo and the name itself is really pretty! Maybe Zoe can be her middle name? Instead of Zoe, you can use Spanish girls names which has Zo in it, like, Zofia or Zoila for instance...Lilianna Zofia Lara is awfully pretty....whatever you decide on, I'm sure it'll turn out great, good luck!

I love Serena, that's a pretty name! Lilliana is pretty also! I like Zoe, but I kinda think that's a little girls name...Lorenzo sounds like a good name, what about Lorenzo Michael (Miguel) Lara?

Ok so for a boy...Lorenzo Manuel Lara (Or perhaps naming him after a close relative, grandfather)
For a girl, in order of my favorites:
1) Serena
2) Lilliana
yeah don't really favor the rest. sorry but those are my favorite
personally i really like the name Olivia

Lilliana - favorite by far
Zoe - 2nd favorite
Reyna/Reya - Sorry, don't like either of these
Amaya - ok
Serena - ok

Lilliana Zoe would be a nice combo.

I know a little girl (Hispanic) with the name Lilliana. Lovely name. I also know a girl who goes by Zoe, but it is her middle name. Her first name is Alexandra.

Oh, I know a 13 yr old Lorenzo, cool name.

Best of luck to you.

I love Zoe but I do think it is too baby-ish. I do like it as a middle name to honor your husband.

I like Liliana and Amaya best. Amaya Zoe Lara is very cute.
