I like the name, but stop for a minute before you hang him with that terrible alternative spelling! When he gets in school he's probably gonna be made fun of because he can't even spell his own name correctly! Besides, it's a stupid way to spell Jerrod!

I like the name, but hate that spelling. I hate it when parents do that to their kids. They think it makes a common name unique by spelling it stupidly, and all it does is make it look like they don't know how to spell.

i like the name jared, but i think that if your are gonna spell it jerryd, the child will probably pick up the nickname jerry. u could also spell jared like....
