I can't find one "good enough"....I'm looking for unique and unusual but not too weird!

My cousin is having a girl and she's going calling her Carolyn Time. Caro for short. Do you reckon Time is weird for a name. I mean I thought it was at first, but it almost seems normal amongst all the Hope's and Destiny's, it's started to grow on me.

I live on the outskirts of Sydney metropolitan in NSW Australia. I named my third child Sydney - after the lead role in Alias. I absolutely love the name for a girl. Does anyone of you live in Sydney and have the name Sydney? I wondered if you love your name, because I just hope that my daughter loves her name as much as I do.

based on my favorite answers, I'm down to these sets

Ginevra, Grace, and Graham,
or
Kalene, Karis, and Kaedon?

I'm down to these two choices, and I'm not changing anymore, so can you all help me pick which one? I really love it if you would! Thank you!

My sister and I have fairly unusual names ... they're not weird, I've just never enountered any one else with them before. So, what do you think?

My sister is Renata (rih-nah-ta, Renny for short). She was named after our father, Rene; she's older than me, and has dirty blonde hair and brown eyes.

My name is Elissa (eh-lih-sa, usually Lissie for short), and I was named after our mother Elisabeth. I have chocolate brown hair and brown eyes ... and, believe it or not, I didn't have problems with people misspelling it as Alyssa until recently (I guess because Alyssa is only now becoming uber-popular).

So, what do you think?

It has the exact same meaning with 1 or 2 A's.

What do you think of the name: Roxy Marie? (for a girl of course!)

So here’s the deal: I am Belizean and Guatemalan, and my husband is Puerto Rican and African American. Latino culture and heritage has always been very important in my family, not at all in my husbands (he was raised by his African American grandparents). I have always wished that I had a Latino name like my sisters and cousins, but instead I got stuck with Lisa Marie :( My husband and I already have a son, named Frank Alexander. I really want our next child (who is a girl) to have a Latina name. But my husband doesn’t think it will sound right, since our last name is Williams (he took his African American mother’s name). What can I do to convince him otherwise?

I am pregnant with my second child and i'm really stuck on baby names. We don't know the sex of our unborn child, so i need suggestions on both boys and girls names. my first child is named Rubie Olivia (middle name) Shannon (surname). My partner likes Lincoln for a boy and Autumn for girl.....help?

2007-11-26 09:47:33 · 52 answers · asked by Anonymous

Okay, I don't know for sure that it's a boy quite yet, but I'm pretty sure. Here are some names we are thinking about - what's your favorite?

Also - do you have any suggestions? (we DON'T like trendy names like Brayden, Jayden, Skylar, etc...more traditional but less common names are the names we like best!)

Here is our list:
Wesley Michael
Henry Michael
Colin Patrick
Lincoln Patrick
