For a girl, I love either Hayley or Holly! I'm leaning more towards Hayley Christine though - it's the perfect mix of tomboy (Hayley) and feminine (Christine). Tahlia or Talia is just too girl-y for me lol. I really like the sound of Hayley much better.
For a boy, I love either Lachlan or Toby lol. Lachlan is definitely more unusual, so I guess there's that to think about. Toby is just great and has a really strong vibe to it. Alexander is a nice name, but I think it works best as a middle name - it's pretty common, but still very masculine and a pretty good name overall. I like to use it to balance out short or unusual first names. Lachlan Alexander or Toby Alexander would be great names. If I had to absolutely choose one, I'd probably go with Lachlan - considering all the other 'kre8ative' names out there, I really love it! It sounds awesome and surprisingly traditional, and Alexander really balances it out.

Holly is not a common name like it was before, so it might be less used. I have a very common name and I hated it is school. I have always liked the name Holly. Thalia is cute too. For a boy, I love Lachlan. Very different. You could use Alexander as the middle name.

Tahlia i really like but I also like Hayley. Holly is a bit Cutesy for me.
Lachlan and Alexander are better than Toby. James would go with any of them for a middle name. Then you could pet name him AJ - LJ or TJ!

My sis and I like Holly Christine for the girl. We like Alexander for the boy, try using Loucas for the middle name.
