Awful. I'm not a fan of Skyla either, to be honest, in the UK it's extremely chavvy, but I'm sure she's very sweet.
How about Tanya? Philippa (Pippa for every day)? Julia? Amanda (Mandy)? Katherine (Kitty)? Lydia? Christine?

Skyla is unusual in Britain at the moment but it is certainly not a YUCK name its climing up the ranks in the US and is in the top 600 names.
Kelsie-Rae is a nice combination.
How about...
Summer
Kai
Sienna
Addison
Avery
Riley/Rylee
Payton

good lord, just don't call her amanda (most used name in creation) i'm not so fussy about skyla, but it's the personality that counts, so never mind. i like tanya better that taya, that always makes me think of someone overweight (i have no clue why)

Taya's nice. I also like Tai.
My parents called me Ilena, which is nice enough except it's pronounced differently to how it's spelt. It's annoying to have to correct people all the time, so I would suggest, from my experience, a name that doesn't have too exotic spelling/ pronunciation.

Taya is very pretty, I really like it. Kelsie-Rae sounds a little 'country bumpkin' to me.
Jayda or Amber would go nice with that I think.
Or Tannah, Ella, Chelsea, Phoebe, Loren..
hope that helps. Congrats and best wishes for your new baby!
