I have it spelled "Madelyn" because I don't want anyone pronouncing it Mad-ill-ine instead of Mad-ill-in.
Madelinn is Made-Lin not Madelyn!

I think Lily is a great name, and I'd use it without hesitation.
Katelyn is okay.
Jaslene strikes me as quite downmarket. It's more truck-stop-waitress than business executive.
Ditto Lindsea. While Lindsay, Lindsey or even Linsey is a good option, Lindsea looks awkward.
Now, as for the Madelyn/Madelinn kerfuffle, I think what you're hearing is that your daughter Made-linn will go through life correcting others about her name. Personally, I'm a huge fan of unusual names. But when they sound oh-so-close to very popular names, confusion is inevitable.
So Maitlyn, Maitland and, yes, Madelinn are all out. If you're frustrated correcting us on Y!A, imagine real life!
Madelyn is okay, but Madeleine/Madeline is far more graceful.
Since you've indicated that you're not troubled by popular names, stick with Lily or Katelyn. They're not beset by worries about how they'll be said, and while there are variant spellings of each, your choices are fairly standard.
If you really want unusual, try a baby name book like Linda Rosenkrantz/Pamela Redmond Satran's Cool Names for Babies or Baby Names Now. You can come up with something more interesting, and less frustrating, than Madelinn.
Best wishes!

Not big on Lily, Jaslene, or Lindsea.
Katelyn an Madelinn/Madelyn are not bad, yough you'll have it mispronounced all the time. I was actually at the doctor's today and a woman there kept correcting the doctor - Mad-e-lynn, not Mad-e-line.

First, is very nice! Second, to me is too plain. Third, don't like the name because I think it will go out of style one day. Madelyn. I can't understand everyone's obsession with this name. To me, this name says nothing to me, and it sounds really plain. Lindsea is just...no, it is not a nice name, but just a name (unless that's what you are looking for). And, no Madelin is about the most commen name right now (I know you said don't mention this, but it is like the absolute most common name I have ever seen for people to name their newborn, in fact so COMMON, you even used two spellings. Is it just me who finds this name irrelevant?) Sorry. Good Luck.

I love the unique spellings of the names. It adds a touch of the parents in doing it that way. My personal favorite from the list is Madelyn!

i LUV all of them, except 4 Lindsea & Madelinn. Lindsea just comes off to me as some1 snobby. Madelinn is just kinda weird, sorry. Lily is DEFINATLY my fave. i like it better spelled Lilli or Lili or Lyli, cuz people don't usually spell it those ways. :-) Jaslene is cool too, i've never heard that b4.
♥ Good Luck & Congrats ♥

Lily is lovely, and part of my daughter's name. Its unique without being over the top.
Katelyn is trendy, and not something I like.
Jaslene is odd. I'm not fond of it.
I dislike the spelling 'Madelyn'. The classical spelling 'Madeleine' or 'Madeline' would be better.
Lindsea would be better spelled the traditional way.
Madelinn sounds choppy; also sounds like someone is mispronouncing Madeline.

Katelyn. I think it's ... kinda plain. Blah.
Jaslene. Not bad. Exotic. Pretty.
Madelyn. I don't love that spelling of it but it's a cute name.
Lindsae. Ugly.
Madelin. Sounds like a tupperware brand.
My pick: Madeline.

Lily is a classic name. Never goes out of style. Never seems too trendy. The others are too trendy to stand the test of time.
