I heard of two unusual names: Little Doe and Precious Chance.
Once I thought of Midnight Destiny; a friend scoffed it by saying it sounds like something you'd name a race horse. I even had the nickname Middy picked out; anyways I still like it...

Try this one for "unusual"...
Simeone said [ sim-e-o-nay]

Here is the origin.
In the New Testament baby Jesus was carried in to the Temple for the first time when an old BLIND priest called out;
"Let me see that child".
As he held he baby Jesus up he said'
"Now Father, let Thy servant depart in peace for my eyes have seen Thy Salvation"
That priest was called...
Simeon.
Turning it in to a female form by adding an um la e behind saves it from becoming [Si-moan] when the Americans get hold of it....
The um la e makes the sound much softer and more femenine...

I named my daughter Esme and my son Roman and people sometimes think it is unusual....
But I just love their names. I love different names, not into boring traditional names.

alot of those 1st and middle combos sound like show names for a dog or a horse. i'll take the already existing names, thanks very much. and sorry everyone, but i think precious is the most painful name in creation. for a kid anyways, its too cutesy, and not what the kid wants when they grow up at all

Not into making up baby names. I like one that already exsists and has a meaning but isnt too popular. I just dont want my kid to be the odd man out and not like their name.
