I like Caden but with a K.. but it is becoming really popular right now. I have met a couple of baby boys named Liam and am so in love with the name. It is so cute as a baby and can be taken to adulthood with no problems. Liam Nicholas is very nice!

All popular, classic choices -- love that you're sticking with the proper Caden spelling, by the way ;) -- and given that Caden is more a newly-common Celtic choice and Nicholas a more traditional/timeless one, I'd likely be tempted to use classic William, in full, with Irish Liam as a short form. Sort of the best of both worlds. ;)

Our own boy list consisted of mostly underused, but still familiar, Celtic options with a few more common choices or simple classics thrown in for good measure. :) Along the lines of:

Ewan
Ronan
Lachlan
Lennox
Cillian
Harvey
Milo
Nolan
Oliver
Dexter

Good luck choosing! ;)

I like Nicholas best, though also like Liam a lot. Caden sounds too close to Cadence for me.

Love Caden and Liam. I probably prefer Liam as I suspect Caden is becoming trendy. Nicholas in theory is a nice name, but it is grossly over used and would only end up being "Nick" - Caden and Liam are much nicer sounding in the end and would not result in nicknames....
