I love the name Ethan - I have a nephew named Ethan Joshua. He is two and it became relatively popular around that time - I know there is usually another lil guy named the same in daycare, swimming, etc.

i have a theory that your name helps define you, and also helps sculpt who you are.
My name is Peter, most peters that i have met are usually a little cocky, maybe a little arrogant, Johns, are usually good guys to know, grow up to be good men, Johnnys however tend to be immature. Ethan is a good strong name.

Ethan is a very nice boy name.
It is of Hebrew origin, and its meaning is "firmness, steadfastness, constancy". From Eitan. Biblical: a man of Israel noted for his wisdom.
