I'm thinking about naming my daughter April in the event of which I have one. what do you think?
I think I want to name her April because I think it is a very creative name (not the first one ofcourse but) and I love the month of April myself. Also it is a very rare name. It is not too out there and not too under the radar.

i have met 2 Aprils in my life. I work with one now. Personally I like the name- it isn't the most original but it is very pretty and if you like it - i'm sure it will make it that much sweeter.

it means :1. April English Opening buds of spring; born in April.
2. April Latin Open. The month April; symbolizes spring.
and what does spring remind you of ? a beautiful sunny day, the smell of flowers etc.

I knew several girls with that name in school, and my graduating class was only 23! So, needless to say it was a very small school! Heck there were 8 people in the school with my name! I like the name April! Most are named that because they are born in April, but just liking the month is good too! Everyone will assume that the baby was born in April!

No, no one wants to be a month. And it's not creative, it's a month of the year (not to be mean). Another thing you can try is looking up meanings of names. If you have something that you love like the ocean for example, you may be able to find a pretty name that means ocean or water. Or if you really like April (the month), name her a flower like Lily. Lily is prettier than April.

I always loved the name April... then I met a girl with that name... and well... lets just say we did not get along. So, now when I hear the name I get a bad taist in my mouth. However, I can look objectivly and tell you that the name is beautiful. What would you use as a middle name? (Believe it or not lol... this girls first name was April... and her middle name was May... her parents were not too creativie). Congrats on the new addition to your family (whenever that will be)!!!!

I know a girl named April and she's totally psycho. I can't hear the name without making a gag face. I also went to school with several girls named April, so I don't think that the name is very unique. It sounds very old ladyish.

I think that April is a beautiful name. I think that you should definanately use it since you love it so much.
April is a gorgeous month and as a name is sounds beautiful. I think that if you love the name so much, your daughter is sure to love it too!

April is a lovely name! However, if she wasn't born in the month of April, I think she'd get teased. I'd make April a middle name if your future daughter isn't born in April. =)

I like the name, but it's not really that rare. Still you should name your daughter April. Besides who cares what others think. It's your child so you should go with your heart.

April is a fine name, but what matters is what you think, not what everyone else thinks. You are the one who is going to be screaming that name at the top of your lungs for the next 25 years.

That is my neices name and I think it is a cute name but her middle name is May so that to me sounds a bit like a calender so I would suggest a different middle name but love April for a girl!
