Adolescent - October 2006

I have 3 older girls - 11yr old twins, and a 12 yr old, and they don't know what to do for halloween. They have mentioned tric-or-treating, but feel they are probably too old. Any ideas? We also have a 1yr old... Thanks!

He says she is a bad mom and we are just children and she should clean 8 hours a day plus cook and do dishes and we hate cleaning but dont think my moms bad and dont think she should do everything?

Late last night the phone rang and i heard a terrible cry on the other line, it was my neice. She is the same age as my son...14. She went to her best friends sleep over and got pregnant. If you came home to find no one else home, but your 16yr old son's friend rummaging thru the kitchen drawer's. When you walk in and ask what he is doing he says he is looking for some paper and a pen to leave your son a note. But you notice on the counter next to him is a lock pick and some of YOUR jewelry, pluse he reaks of pot and alcohol. When you ask him to leave he does, but what would you do afterwards? Do you tell your son, call the cops, tell his parents or something else, or even do you do nothing?

so what do fellow parents do when their kids get sand in their pants or underwear/swimwear while at the beach, sandbox, park, etc?

I wait until we're home unless it's at the beach, then I take them to the outdoor shower spout to wash off.

I've seen other moms actually put their hands down their kids stuff and get it out that way. I could never see myself doing that.

The Disney Phones look pretty good and not like cheesey toys (to me at least).

Does anyone have any experience with the new Disney Phones and Disney wireless? I love the features they offer with their phones/plans. However, I would hate to get stuck under a contract where coverage is bad. How big is the Disney Mobile network? My children travel and I want them to have coverage in major cities. Are there any other providers that allow you to set allowances and restrict call call times?

My 15 year old needs to have her phone controlled. She goes over minutes and uses the phone late at night and at school. I have not been able to find another cellular service who will allow up to monitor her minutes used. (some allow GPS monitoring, but I am more concerned about cost control and setting limits for minutes, text pages, web times, pics sent, etc.)

So excited. Not really cut, but trimmed. But I 've made up my mind and decided to get it layered and with side bangs.
