Pregnancy & Parenting - 9 December 2007

We just moved into our new house but found out halfway through the move that we are pregnant with triplets!! We have two daughters ages 11 and 12 and one son age 8. I feel so guilty about not being able to help with the move. And they will have to work twice as hard because all of our family is coming for christmas.Is there anything that I can do to help them even though I'm pregnant?

How much bigger do breasts get when pregnant on average?

Im already a DD and find this unbearable... i cant imagine getting any bigger?!!!

I have a three month old who at 2 months old weighed 17 Lbs and measured 26" long. At birth she was 10.5 Lbs and 22" long.
I am diabetic and am concerned that this may be affecting my baby. I am breast feeding and still take the prenatal vitamins and DHA supplement. She only eats every three to five hours and only from one side. The doctor does not think I am over feeding her.
I've talked to the pediatrician and he says she is fine. She is in the 99th percentile for almost everything.
She just seems to be growing too fast. After about two weeks she was able to hold her head and shoulders up. Now she can hold herself up on her legs with some help and does not hardly get wobbly at all. She tries to sit up on her own. She is very strong. Physically she looks like a baby at least twice her age.
Should I be concerned?

I just asked a question about pain in the lower left abdomen and got the response of, "It's probably just ligament pain." which makes sense and I am happy with until I speak with my DR.

BUT.. I just went to the bathroom and noticed a big ...um, glob.. (gosh, sorry, this sounds horrible) of discharge on my underwear. It wasn't in the crotch area though, it was up the underwear a little higher... if that makes any sense? I'm so confused. I don't know if I am so miserable and wanting the baby here so badly that every little thing is driving me crazy or what, but ... the big glob of discharge is abnormal.

I wiped it with toilet paper and it wasn't bloody... so, when you lose the mucus plug, is it always bloody?

i am a first time mom and 36 weeks pregnant. my doc told me that i can start expecting the baby in another 10 or 15 days.
she has recommended " Red Raspberry Leaf Tea " 3 times a days to tone my cervix. after i started taking that tea i feel like the baby is kicking more... or may be its just my imagination... but it is definitely more active these days...
also my doc told me that when the labor starts the area around my belly button ll harden and i will feel pain there in the ratio
5:1:1 ( contraction every 5 minutes, lasts for 1 minute, and this continues for 1 hour )
but other people are saying that it ll hurt in the pubic area, in the lower back, thighs etc...
i want to know where exactly i will feel the pain ?

I have an animal/alphabet theme for my upcoming son...walls are pear green and the crib is black. Bedding is fairly neutral and I bought cute animal alphabet wall cards from Land of Nod.

okay, for the past.. i'd say, three days, sleeping has been HORRIBLE for me. I am 38 weeks pregnant TOMORROW, and... If I lie on my right side while I sleep, and I go to turn over onto my back, it get the sharpest, most stabbing pain in my lower left abdomen. It takes my breath away, and I couldn't talk if I wanted to while it's happening. It seriously feels like someone is stabbing me with a butcher knife. As I sit here, I get some dull pain in the left lower abdomen, but NOTHING like if I'm switching from my right side to my back.

Any ideas?! I don't want to go to L&D but abdomen pain is scary. :(

I have a nine year old son with Aspergers Syndrome. I think he is an amazing child. I feel very blessed by him. The only problem is I have anew husband that I have been with for three years. He used to try and understand my son and was so amazing to him. Now that we have a son bettween the two of us he doesn't seem to even care about what he is (my son) is going through any more. He yells at him always. He calls him a wuss when he has meltdowns over things. The most recent fight was because our two year old hit my nine year old with a bat in the head. This caused my nine year old to go into a state of panic, at wich time my husband yelled at my son and put him in his room, and let our two year old continue to play with bat. When I intervened in hopes of a resolution he told me my son talks to him direspectful and when he gets old enough he is going to kick his a**. If things dont get better I will loose the man I love.

LONG STORY get ready...
well my bff, justin since pre k has a son, ashtin whos mother left him wen he was 3 months and i was always over and helping justin wit ashtin. and then wen ashtin started he called me mommy and in ways i was his mother i mean i helped raise him and i love him more than life itself (no joke) i would take a bullet for that kid i love him so much. and now he is 1 and a 1/2 and his mother is back and living with him and i go and c him 1 a week (which is less than b4 his mom came back) so idk if it is a sign 2 back off and idk if i should let his mom, ashley b his mom and i should let them b a family. ik it would b hard and i love him so much that if that is wat i have to do to make him happy and have a normal family than i will do it. im just rlly confused and dont kno wat to do and i will do watever is best 4 him no matter how much it hurts me.

At what age do you think is good for sippy cups. my son doctor told me that it was ok to start giving him juice noe. he is 4 1/2 old. he is already eating most of his basic foods cereal, fruits and veggies. I do not want to give him juice in the bottlr because it can rot teeth. it will be baby juice. and he holds his bottle well. is this a good time to start. he also sits up on his own and has doubled his birth weight thats why we started him on solids.
