I think Hannah is a nice name. Nothing to do with Hannah Montana any chance?!

I think Hannah will be a wonderful name at any age. It's a classic name that holds up. Since it's a Biblical name, it's something that's been around for a long time, not "cutesie" or anything. Ultimately it's up to you. If you just like Sarah better, go with that one. Either one is a great name I don't think you have to worry about. You see all kinds of weird names and spellings, but Hannah or Sarah are great!

That's a good point that most people don't notice. But also think about it this way: I'm sure that by the person is 80, Hannah will be considered a classic name for that time period. I don't think it will be cute, but probably pretty or elegant.
Yes, I do like Sarah better (personally), but that's probably just because that's my name! lol!

Well , I know a Hannah ..actually 2, they're relatives and they are both in their 80's. Fits them too.
Sarah another lovely old fashioned name will also be timeless.
Cute or pretty is not defined by a name but by who a person is .
Amber, Morgan, Ashley, Hannah and Sarah are all going to be old one day and I have never met an old wrinkled woman in her 80's who has been physically cute or pretty

I like the name hannah, I don't see any problems with an 80 year old hannah either, there are much worse names out there. Sarah is nice too though.
I'm 29 weeks pregnant with a girl... she'll be called Katie. My son is called Daniel.

I'm named Hannah, and it's actually a crappy name for a teen. But if it's so bad as the girl ages, why has it been in the top 50 for the last century? Obviously, because it works, actually better for a grandma. Whoever said Hannah was a cute name only good for a baby anyway? I've always thought it sounds better with an older generation.

I have always liked old-fashioned sounding names for girls. If my son would have been a girl I was going to name her Sarah Elizabeth ... but I also like the name Hannah. I think when Hannah turns 80 ... she will still be beautiful and wonderful. Your name becomes a part of you ... no matter how young or old. If you like the name ... go for it!

By the time the child is 80, Hannah will be an old-fashioned name and Sarah will be considered young and hip. It's just the way the times go. Btw, I think Hannah and Sarah are both beautiful names.

When you give a baby a name, it is theirs for the rest of their life. The name becomes them and they become the name. Hannah will be great at 80; just as she was at 18 or 8, because she's Hannah! She is who she is.

Well my daughter aged 8 years is callled sarah and her cousin aged 7 years is called Hannah. I felt all through my pregnancy that my baby was a boy called James and then came along Sarah. So my suggestion is have a few ideas and then wait until the baby is born . But do think about when that child goes to school and has to learn to write there own name!!!
PS sarah's sister is called Rachael (4 years).
Good luck
