Pregnancy & Parenting - 8 December 2007

I breast fed my daughter until she was a year old (then switched to whole milk) but ever since I weaned her from the breast she will stick her hand down my shirt and play with my nipple. She usually only does it when she's upset, sick, or ready for a nap or bedtime. I think she does it for comfort (remindes her of when she breast fed). But its kinda embarassing when she does it in public but she will cry (poke out her bottom lip and the tears will start flowing, cute & sad @ the same time lol) and stick it right back in there. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions on how to break her from this??
(BTW she also will do it to both grandmas & a couple of my friends & even her daddy lol) Thanks!

I am well over one month pregnant and while I haven't really had much vomiting I do feel nauseous and sensitive. I still exercise every couple of days but after skipping one day I find myself lethargic and sleeping all day long. When is morning sickness supposed to end and is everyone fully functional in their first tri-mester or is it normal to feel really tired and like not doing anything at all?

I am breaking my head here. I live in Los Angeles, CA, it is cold! I wanted to do something in the backyard but I think its too cold, I was thinking Chuck E Cheese's but something is holding me back. Don't know what. I know my son is only turning1 but I wanna invite my closest friends & family. We will not fit in my house.

She often tells me that her work is completed, but it is either incorrect or partially incomplete. Currently, Em has a 61% for the nine weeks, and I have spoken to her about her behavior and her grades. I was wondering if you think creating a success plan, like a contract, for Em would be beneficial in helping to resolve this problem, or if you just wanted to talk to her. I really want to find the best way to reach her, I just don’t seem to be getting there. Any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated. Or, if actually speaking to me might help explain any of these situations we could arrange a time to talk later in the evening if school hours don’t work. Please let me know what you think best.

i have 14 month old twins and my son climbs on the coffee table i know its dangerious and he can get hurt verry badly but i cant make him stop hes fallen off 3 times and hit his head and ive pulled him down several times and swatted his butt ofcourse ive tried firmly telling him not but nothing is working he might stay away from it while im sitting right there but the moment i step out side for a smoke or into the bath room or the kitchen he crawls right back up there im afraid hes going to hurt him self badly and nothing im doing is keeping him from doing it and im afraid his sister will learn from him and get hurt please help

I'm 9 months pregnant and I'm in the process of leaving my husband...I told him to go home for Christmas, I don't want to be around him...he is basically a horrible person. My Periods are Irregular. But they usually start towards the end of the month to the beginning of a new month. I was curious so I took a few test.
(We (husband and I) are TTC our first one)
I took 3 different Pregnancy Test and Brands on 2 different days. All three said "positive."
2 days later I used the restroom and wiped to see that I got a little blood spotting. Sorta pink and brownish. It was just enough to last 2 secs worth of spotting. Then I checked a couple hours later to see if I would bleed and begin my period. There was no more spotting.
Has this ever happened to anyone? What does this mean?

Just wanted to know if it was normal for sore boobs to be gone at about 12 weeks. I've heard that pregnancy symptoms go away significantly by the second trimester but just wanted to hear if there were any other similar experiences.

My 3 yr. old daughter got a very thick hair, it's healthy but lumpy. After I shampoo her with any baby shampoo, it will not turn good, but when I tried using pantene conditioner after her shampoo it just turn like it's very soft to touch and easy to comb. Is it okey to continue using pantene conditioner to a baby?

i was going to get my daughter the fisherprice kids digital camera, but i read awfull reviews on it. does anyone know of a kid friendly digital camera. my daughter is 2 and she loves using my digital camera, i want her to have her own though because mine was very costly. please don't answer she's too young, i just need help picking one out. thanks
