I saw on the news this past summer to mix it up a more frequently than that the example given was if you walk two miles Mon, Wed and Fri. You should consider doing an incline on Wed to make it more intense, and jog one mile of the walk on Fri. The speaker said that the important thing is to make sure your body can not get in a routine, and when it is too routine try something a little extra to shake things up.
