My ob/gyn gave me a list of medications that are safe for pregnant women. You can take Sudafed or Actifed for congestion. Robitussin DM for coughs. Halls Cough drops for dry, scratchy throat.
Hope this helps.

I don't think you should take anything! It is only a cold and while you will feel crummy for a little while it isn't worth the risk of taking anything for it that could potentially harm your baby. So many meds were deemed safe by doctors yet after further testing they found out otherwise. Just suffer through the cold.

Nothing. The only safe thing for you to take is Tylenol. If you are having trouble breathing, go to the store and get some VICKS liquid. Heat some water until it steams and put some of the liquid in the hot, steaming water. Don't boil it. That just causes the VICKS to disappear to fast. All you need is hot steaming water. This will help you breathe better. Good luck and Merry Christmas.

Regular saline nasal spray and regular strength tylenol with nothing added to it.

Cold medications are horrible for the unborn.

your safest bet is to talk to an obgyn.....the answers you get on here may not be accurate and you wouldn't want to hurt your little one...
