No way! I'm pregnant with my first child, and I'll soon be 29. I'm glad I waited until this point in my life to start having kids. I accomplished many things in my teens and '20s, made sure I was financially and emotionally secure, and I know that my previous life experiences have made me more patient and mature. So now, my husband and I definitely know we're ready to have kids.

In short, don't worry about what society says and do what YOU want! Yes, statistically, it is slightly more difficult to conceive in your '30s, and yes, doctors consider ages 35 and after to be high-risk pregnancy years, but the bottom line is, every woman is different. Plenty of women have healthy, happy children in their '30s and '40s. I realize doctors come up with these figures for a reason, but I honestly think part of this is fear-mongering and society's way of making women feel guilty for having increased reproductive and even sexual choices.

By the way, my age is very close to yours; I conceived within two months of trying, and my pregnancy has been nothing but smooth and enjoyable! :)

30 isn't old at all! Plenty of women don't start having babies until after your age and have perfectly healthy children when they do.

The risks really increase as you reach 40.. 30 is still a safe, normal, age to have kids. Have fun and good luck!

Its genuine you do develop your probabilities of having a toddler with start defects, which includes Downs Syndrome, as you age. generally that is worrysome over the age of 35, from what I even have heard. the reason being each era you have your physique selects the perfect, maximum healthful, chromasomaly perfect egg you have, ignoring the eggs with greater chromasomes (Downs Syndrome) or different genetic themes. although, having babies at 30 is high-quality, and persons are having babies later and later those days. Many female are having babies previous due 30 s and into their 40's. additionally, while you're comfortable with aborting a being pregnant which you already know there is an anomaly of a few variety they are in a position to show screen for such themes once you're nevertheless in the legal time perameters for scientific abortion (i.e. abortion because of the fact of scientific illness/retardation/sickness of the toddler, or wellbeing danger posed to mom). maximum Dr's recommend you having certainly one of those screening while you're over 30, except you tell your Dr. which you does not have an abortion even if if something replaced into strange with the toddler. even if while you're under 30 they oftentimes consistently grant this screening besides. They asked me if i needed the screening and that i replaced into in basic terms 25 as quickly as I had my son. i for my section could in no way have an abortion the two way so I opted out of the screening. I beleive each female has to the suitable to chosen to have an abortion if it is solid for them however, I only could not do it myself. base line, while you at the instant are not waiting to have babies yet do not do it to make somebody else happy! that's not a reason to deliver a toddler into the international. try to be waiting! and there is not any reason you won't be in a position to have babies in case you finally end up 30! desire it is efficient! :)

Our youngest child was born when I was 38 and my husband was 39. Good friends of ours had their first child when she was 40 and he was 41. Unless there are other medical concerns, potential risks don't start to increase until after age 35. 30 is not too old to have a baby.

I'm a fourth child in my family and youngest. My mommy had me when she was 35. So I think it's alright. My mom had her first when she was 28, her second when 30, and her third at 34. O yeah and my aunt had her third when she was 42 I think. All i know is she had it over 40 and now she is 50.

The risks you are referring to are usually for people near or at 40. Most families today don't een start until they reach 30, so I don't know what you are worried about.
