You didnt give much information as to WHY you would do this so I have to ask:
Why doesnt your parents like your b/f?
Or is your family dysfunctional and psychotic?
Or both?
If your home life is horrible I can understand you wanting to get away.HOWEVER, get a job and make it on your OWN for a while.Do NOT jump right into shacking up with your b/f and here is why.
Chances are you do not see him as he "REALLY" is but as you fantasize him to be , it takes a yr for people to really get to know one another.WHY?
People have a tendency to hide their bad habits and faults when they are romantically interested in someone.
Your parents probably see things about him that you do not whether they are off their rocker or not.
What if you take off with him, get pregnant then discover, he wont hold down a job, and/or drinks too much and/or does drugs?
Use your HEAD to make this decision. At least if you are living on your own, you wont have to worry about rental agreements, money sharing woes and court battles if you shack up a while and it goes sour.If the relationship goes sour and you are living on your own, then all you will have to deal with is the emotional turmoil unless he is psycho, then you call 911.

When your 18 you are legally an adult. Your parents could get mad because your living under there roof. But legally you can do it if you want.

I would however be concerned if my 17 year old was daiting a 21 year old.

At 18 you are free to do whatever you wanna do. I would not have an issue with a 21 year old man coming to pick up my 18 year old.

However, if I dont like him..........he would have to wait in the kitchen or on the porch. He cant sit and blow the horn, or call from his cell for her to come out. I have to see who she is leaving my house with.

I trust my daughter and her sense of who to bring home and who not to bring home.

Once you're 18, you're considered an adult so he couldn't get charged with kidnapping or endangering a minor or anything...so legally you two would be fine, but that isn't going to stop your dad/mom from throwing a fit if they don't approve of it..

Not legally, but you should assess the situation. If your parents are going to have a problem with it you should talk with them. If you feel you can't talk to them then leave in a different manner and see your bf later. No need to rub their nose in it if they disapprove.

No, but it would be very rude and immature to leave when everyone has planned a party.
