Pregnancy & Parenting - 25 November 2007

How do I handle this? The four kids I babysat have been taught by their dad that cussing and flipping people off is funny!! (Ages 4, and 3 yr. old twins). Seriously! I mean, these are loved kids - not abused or anything, but i'm wondering if it's right for me to discipline them for something they've been taught is ok. Someone has been (probably their grandparents) because they know that flipping someone off for example is a "bad word" and they spend the whole day yesterday saying "What the heck" and then "What the He**." It really bothers me because when we go out in public they tell people to f*$% off and also use the b-word. They of course get time-outs/spanks from me... but then I got to thinking, is this fair to them? How do I handle this? (Dad is NOT going to change, but mom is trying to be better about the cussing.)

I was looking into maternity leave at work and my boss saw what i was doing he told me he dosnt offer maternity paid he told me to look into it. By law does he have to paid maternity leave im confuse!

We just can't decide since there are so many ways to spell it...I know sticking with tradition may be easier bc they can find their names on pins, mugs, etc but that is a stupid reason to not spell it any other way. I mean my first daughter is Aliyah...I saw NO need to have 2 A's at the begining as it served no purpose. I guess I could say the same with Zoe, I just do not want to name my kids #1 something out there #2 something VERY common like Megan (my name) and #2 nothing common but spelled in a ridiculous unneeded manor like Maeghan, Meghean, or Magen (I've seen much more and I would hate to have my name spelled any of those ways)!!!!!!

I was driving and at a bus stop I see this girl from behind, she was in a tight shirt with her back showing and pants that had to be five sizes too small for her and a HUGE coach bag on her arm. She turned around and I saw a babyface. She couldn't be more than 13!

What mother would let a girl that age go out dressed like she was almost out of highschool/adult. I mean, maybe if she had been a little older I would have thought less of it. But she couldn't be more than 13.

my last period was on October 27. 2007..since then every week i have had unportected sex and i know for a fact that he has finished inside me...it occured on November 2, November 9, November 16, and November 24....i am deeply in love and wanna have this mans baby.. how likely is it that ill get a positive pregnancy in December, meaning id be issing my period in November?? also when can i test? i normally have a 30 day cycle.

I thought i could handle having a puppy (toilet trainning), and being pregnant and having 3 children. Now i have found out i cant what can i do, i dont want to upset the person who gave me this puppy for my children, my children are not really bothered about this puppy. Im due January 4th and aquired $1,000 that doesn't necessarily have to go somewhere. We do not have much money and live paycheck to paycheck so whatever I do with the money needs to be accessable in case of emergencies.

I'll most likely just put the money in our savings account. If there is somewhere better I could put it, and still access it within a day or two let me know!
