It belongs in a museum, not flying over state capitols.

Is it all because of greed?
Do some Americans care more for their "made in China" flags than for their fellow citizens?

The Greeks couldn't explain rain or thunder, so they attributed those events to Gods. Gods were crying or Gods were angry. The Europeans couldn't explain sickness, so they attributed sickness to the work of demons.

All these gaps in science were eventually filled out.

ID proponents believe that because current science cannot explain certain phenomena (atleast in their view) it must be God who is behind them.

I just want tax dollars, collected from people spent to support Israel , regardless , ended .
I could care less if a company wants to take the profits it earns and donate them all to Israel .
Just stop taking my tax dollars to do it .

How many of you want to stop funding Israel and provide them with all the moral support they deserve .Those who want can cheer them on from the sidelines or go join them . Just stop taking my money to do it .

Global Warming will be a political issue during the next election cycle. Are YOU taking a proactive approach to help solve the problem,or just complaining?
Another way to look at it:do your actions offset your words?
Examples:
Complain about SUV's while driving a 10 year old pollution-mobile.
Complain about power plant emissions while having the central heat set at 78 degrees.
Complain about water issues while using that old commode with 7 gallons per flush, taking 30 minute showers,or using 50 gallons of water for a nice soak in the tub.
Complain about energy consumption while buying those inefficient incandescent light bulbs.
Etc...
Have YOU spent the money required to do YOUR part?

Both types seem to come from backgrounds where church/christian values are missing or lacking.
Can a diluded sense of moral values be responcible for the appearent increase of radical anti-American hate speech by some in our society like Clooney, Sean Penn, Rosie O and Michael Moore?
In short, do most of these libs embrace the San Francisco values that brought us the 60's and especially illegal drug use? Or...
Are all the leftie libs High? and otherwise out of touch w/ reality?

p.s. we know the count was correct (even the NY times and washington post recounts showed Bush won)...I have heard that when kennedy was elected the nixon camp was fairly certain they could prove voting fraud in chicago and wanted to take it to court; President Eisenhower convinced nixon it was in the best interest of the country to not take it to court and nixon agreed...had gore done the honorable thing would we have all the hatred of bush and all things american from the left?

They don't need to. From an engineering standpoint, ID is fascinating... in fact many of the scientists who investigate ID happen to be engineers, and they are all about DESIGN. Isn't it about time we took a refreshing new look at Darwinism, and shake off the musty orthodoxy that has descended upon the theory?

I read this story, and I was shocked to see that I actually agree with Bush. He is not attacking americans or making our life worst in this one instance. He is acting like he cares about how we live. A rare occasion.
Perhaps, I missed it, but he seems to be on the right side this time.

Selling Your Vote ?
The dumbing-down of America's youth is in full swing . A poll of NYU students indicates the utter nonsense and irresponsibility of the majority of our youth . Misguided , ill-informed and irresponsible . Not entirely the kids fault though . As you will see in the attached news story , even one of their teachers is nuts enough to think that selling one's vote is somehow an 'admirable' quality . Read this poll and then I'd appreciate your comments .

According to the report, a survey of 3,000 students conducted by an NYU undergraduate journalism class found that an overwhelming majority of those polled said their right to vote could be for sale; in addition to the 66 percent who said they'd trade their vote for a free year of college, 20 percent said they'd exchange their vote for an Ipod Touch. Half of the students polled said they'd forfeit their right to vote forever for $1 million.

Dalton Conley, chairman of NYU's sociology department, told Politico.com that the results are actually encouraging. The high price tag most students put on their vote showed that they actually think the right to vote is very valuable and important.

During the 60s, liberals were leading the civil rights movement, the protests against the Vietnam War, and trying to change the system. Conservatives, by definition, remained loyal to authority.

INTERESTING ARTICLE ON ROMNEY DURING THE 60s. SOME EXCERPTS

Mr. Romney described it as “a very interesting firsthand view of a very volatile setting.” But his friends say the strikes were terrifying and reinforced their respect for authority. “The social system failed. The country came to a stop,” said Byron Hansen, another missionary and now a car dealer in Brigham City, Utah. “It affected me and I am sure it affected Mitt.”

The missionaries had often met with hostility over the Vietnam War. “Are you an American?” was a common greeting, Mr. Romney recalled, followed by, “‘Get out of Vietnam! Bang!’ The door would slam.” But such opposition only hardened their hawkish views. “We felt the French were pretty weak-kneed,” Mr. Hansen said.

Would these debates be more informative if we had candidates from different parties answering these questions?
So Hillary and Rudy and Edwards and Romney could answer the same question, the the same stage?
Also, during the general election, there are only two candidates, MAYBE three. If there are political parties with candidates on the ballot in all 50 states, or at least enough to hypothetically win the Electoral College, why are they denied the right to speak their vision for America in front of a national audience? Why only two or three candidates?

There isn't one I feel I can support. If they really want to win they end up taking so much money from corporations to make enough money to campaign, this is a disgrace.
