p.s. we know the count was correct (even the NY times and washington post recounts showed Bush won)...I have heard that when kennedy was elected the nixon camp was fairly certain they could prove voting fraud in chicago and wanted to take it to court; President Eisenhower convinced nixon it was in the best interest of the country to not take it to court and nixon agreed...had gore done the honorable thing would we have all the hatred of bush and all things american from the left?

I think that the blind hatred of Republicans and other anti-democracy people started when the Republicans refused to let all the votes be counted. Think of how much the world would be different if the votes had been counted.

Al Gore president.
No recession.
No 9/11
No occupation of Iraq.
No deficit.
A booming economy.
American dependence of Arab oil reduced
Less money to fund international terrorism.
Lower gas prices
Fewer terrorists
Proper Katrina response
National guard troops and equipment in California instead of Iraq puts out the fires before they get big.
US respected around the world.
A justice department that enforces the law, not politics.
Open and Honest executive branch.
A Supreme Court that interprets the Constitution based upon sound judicial principles rather than politics.
Voting machines that can be trusted.
Fewer dead soldiers

No. Liberals don't hate America. They believe in it. That's why they are so angry that the conservatives are killing it with their fascism, nepotism, cronyism, and corruption.

The election process itself was corrupt and we all know that, the machines were defective and the butterfly ballots were deliberately obtuse. I won't re-hash the rest of it, since there is obviously no interest in the facts in this question.

Gore walked away from a Presidency he didn't want bad enough. He should have fought for it. I won't vote again for someone who doesn't care enough to stand up to the thuggery of the current administration. We need someone with more backbone to heal the damage the smirking chimp has done to the rest of us - in our name!

No
it was started by Republicans because of Nixon

Republicans were at one time civil and decent folks
THEN Richard Millhouse Nixon was elected President.
THEN Richard Millhouse Nixon authorized a burglary
THEN Richard Millhouse Nixon tried to cover it up
THEN Richard Millhouse Nixon was caught red handed in the middle of a felony
THEN Richard Millhouse Nixon lied and tried to squirm out of it
THEN Richard Millhouse Nixon finally did the right thing and resigned the Presidency
THEN Richard Millhouse Nixon's supporters started a vendetta to go after any democrat that ever runs
THEN Richard Millhouse Nixon's supporters decided that "getting even" was much more important than admitting they were wrong, JUST LIKE THEY WERE WRONG ABOUT VIETNAM
THEN Richard Millhouse Nixon's SUPPORTERS SUDDENLY BECAME THE PARTY OF HATRED AND
BEGAN WHAT WE KNOW TODAY AS
POLITICS OF PERSONAL DESTRUCTION

P.S> AL GORE DID THE RIGHT THING

THE SUPREME COURT DID THE WRONG THING !!!

Democracy thrives on dissent and difference of opinion.
Totalitarianism thrives on total obedience and agreement with the fearless leader.

Hate America? What is wrong with you! None of us hate this country. It is our country and we love it deep down into our souls. We do not love the corruption of our country. And that is what we make noise about!

You can't have a correct account when thousands of people were dropped off the rolls because of a Republican flawed database comparison.

So, no more of that 'the count was correct' nonsense...we all know how many people were refused their right to vote because they had the same names as a felon in Texas.

Bush would have done the same as Gore had there been as many errors and mishaps negatively affecting the GOP in FL. would you have criticized him for doing so?

No it was an excuse to amp up their hatred, Gore 2000 coup attempt failed and Clinton holding up funding didn't help either.

The 2000 recount was a Liberal Coup attempt.
