Like what is the difference in the two... and what are their views on things like abortion, illegal immigrations, education, gay/lesbian, taxes, etc?

I want an answer that doesnt promote just one side and puts down the other, I want an equal look on both so I can figure out which fits me more.

Does it not mean 'without prejudice and tolerant, favoring progress or reform, not strict'. It would appear that the term is taking on a new meaning these days. Either that or conservatives don't like the above mentioned concepts?

I hear liberals say they want to keep jobs from going over seas.

They want the price of oil to be lower.

They want more fiscal responsibility.
