No, it's time to abolish it alltogether. Biggest waste of taxpayers money ever. If people are given no ability to think for themselves or to deviate from the routine, then what the hell good are they? It's worthless to continue to "react" to events that have already happened, what we need are people on the lookout for any type of activity and be able to connect the dots. And the people they are hiring are not of that capability - most of them anyways.

Private??? With who?. Retired police officers, former military, at 20.00 an hour plus benefits, or $9.00 an hour robocops? Depends on how much of a security surcharge you want tacked onto your plane ticket.
