imagine no governmental or popular control existed to restrain capitalism. are some political and economical system inherently "bad" or "good"? or are all such systems only as good or bad as they are balanced and controlled?

Monopolies. You'd pay a high price to get poor service. Wealth would become concentrated in the hands of a few.

It would be horrible! Yes some economic systems are inherently good and bad because, in the case of capitalism, it thrives on inequality and an unequal distribution of wealth, wealth accumulating in the hands of the rich capitalists who exploit the working class. It denies the individual rights, but focuses on the rich capitalists and leads to imperialism

The ultimate result is slavery, either to technology or those who hoard money.

Thus the Republican-inspired obscene financial divide of today that is choking the American dream.

We need a return to the Middle Class.
We need more Democrats.

A cycle of anarchy, feudalism, empire, revolt.

A Constitutionally guaranteed democratic republic sets the the rules of the game called capitalism.

Without the Constitution the game is rigged.
