as an Englishman who is currently in the USA on business i feel i must ask this.
Last night i felt the urge to get shedfaced and i decided to go to a pub in some place called Dallas, Texas.I ordered a lager and supped it down and continued in that way until i got to my 26th pint and realised i wasnt getting pis*ed.When i confronted the barman he told me that it was a beer substitute called "Budweiser" and this was served instead of real alcohol because Americans cant take take their beer and it has been made illegal. At least i got my money back after i punched him in the face.
How do Americans feel about the ban?

Most recently the Labor Department estimated that 53% of the 2.5 million farm ladorers are "illegals". Growers are moving operations to Mexico. Said Steve Scaroni, a leading grower of lettuce and other produce products, "At least I know the one thing I don't have to worry about is losing my labor force because of an immigration raid."

Conservatives may not agree with a viewpoint different from theirs, but they would fight to the death to defend their right to say it.

Liberals, on the other hand, with their constant cries of tolerance, will wring their hands, attack and belittle anyone who breathes a word of even slight conservatism. Why is this?

How would you react if the building next to you exploded?
How would you feel if your child's Day Care was taken over by terriorist?
What if the person next to you, in your office, walked into work with a bomb strapped on their body?
Where would you live if your Apartment Building was bombed?
How would you react if your 3 year old had been taken by terriorist and there was a huge gathering for prayer for the children. When the praying was interrupted by your child walking into the huge group of gathers. Beaten and ladened with C4?
Would you continue to be so complacient, if while driving on a Sunday outing you hit a roadside bomb?

You say that Bush lied about the reasons to go to war in Iraq that he manipulated the intel about the weapons of mass destruction. That he was behind the 9-11 attacks and that he coodrinated people planting explosives in the WTC had planes flown into them and shot a missle into the Pentagon all without no smoking gun evidence. (The Youtube videos are not smoking guns they are unlaoded guns at best)

My question is if he did all of these things you say, why didnt he plant weapons of mass destruction in Iraq to prove his case and make his decision to go in look wise? if he was able to pull off the others this would be an easy task.

Is anybody tired of the manic conditions in today's America yet. Gas prices that jump 30 cents a gallon in an afternoon, an uncertain economy, international affairs that just seem to worsen from one day to the next, a stock market that jumps 100 points one day then falls a 100 points the next, a "booming" economy in which only corporate America and the IRS prospers, the worry of product safety from imported products no longer made in the USA. Is this what life in America will be like from now on?
What has led us into this lifestyle? Is this the America we want?

This past November 2006, we were promised by our elected officials that they would slash spending on earmarks. Here is it September 4, 2007, 9 months into their terms and what progress have we made? Here are the leading numbers according to the San Francisco Chronicle:

Diane Feinstein - $382.3 Million
John Murtha - $186 Million
Barbara Boxer - $152.5 Million
Nancy Pelosi - $141.3 Million
Obey - $96 Million
Denny Hoyer - $85.5 Million

Watchdog groups praise Democrats' efforts to rein in pork spending, which exploded over the last decade under Republican rule. But Alexander said heavy earmarking by Pelosi and other party leaders raises questions about their commitment to making deep cuts.

"It seems like they are not necessarily leading by example," she said.

How in the hell can you praise this group of politicians for cutting spending? They are raiding the treasury while they preach that they should be cutting the budget.

Here's a peculiar thing about the holier-than-thou Campaign Finance Reform crowd. Whenever the stench of dirty money starts wafting from Democrat Party coffers, the clean election lobbyists are nowhere to be found. They'll raise hell and hackles over American corporate donors. But when it's shady foreign operators infusing cash into our electoral system, you'll only hear one sound: the deafening swell of crickets chirping.
Hillary and Bill Clinton have declared themselves "shocked" at revelations about one of the Democrat Party's mysterious, deep-pocketed bagmen, Hong Kong native Norman Hsu. Hsu, a prodigious Democrat donor, was arrested last week after having evaded the law for 15 years over grand theft swindling charges. Hsu pleaded no context to those charges and was supposed to serve jail time. Instead, he managed to remain a fugitive while raking in hundreds of thousands of dollars for Democrat candidates and officeholders
