I think he win's this week's Ted Kennedy award. A misdemeanor does not mean you have to resign from the Senate. Otherwise, Senator Kennedy would have been in another line of work since 1969 when the lady in his car drowned after he left her in the river when he was driving drunk on an expired license.

Imagine if there had been CNN, MSNBC, FoxNews and the internet when Kennedy was driving drunk...

The difference is when John Kerry "voted for it before he voted against it", so did most of the Senate. He voted for a bill, it was re-written by the House and then he voted against the House version (as did the majority of the Senate).

The GOP did a good job of portraying Kerry as a "flip-flopper" when he did the same thing that practically the whole Senate did. he just did a poor job of explaining it.

As for Craig, every day he sticks around is like Christmas for the Democratic Party.

As loyal Bush supporters we should Stand By Our Man.

Guys, this is a guy with a great voting record, 100% loyal to our President Bush.

Don't CUT N RUN. Don't be a coward.

Even if he was seeking gay sex in the bathroom it was discreet closeted gay sex, which is common and OK in the GOP. Keep it like a State Secret.

No, he doesn't even win this week's HYPOCRISY award. That honor will always belong to Bush. However, most of the rest in his party come in a close second.

No, he clearly said that "It is my intent to resign as of Sept 30." Everyone should plainly understand that to mean that he was not intending to resign, just that it was his intent. Don't you people even pay attention to details!

And he should not!

Entrapment is considered illegal in some jurisdictions. And I believe that Craig, even though he is a right-wing, Republican, should stay and fight.

The real low-lifes are his "fellow" Republicans. They are disgusting in how they ran for cover and turned their backs on him.

No, the George Bush award.

The Mission was accomplished, then it wasn't.

Sweet'nSour: Imagine if CNN was around when Bush was convicted of driving drunk.
