Great question! Why aren't more people asking it?

I have yet to hear anything about Thompsons campaign and don't know his platform- but do know that he is a CFR member and was a career lobbyist and those two things alone make him extremely undesireable. That is if I try to forget multiple marriages, lazy voting record and major illness within the past year.

Generally, I see little difference between any of them. McCain is against torture, Romney is for it. McCain is pro-open borders, Romney is opposed.

Giuliani supports open borders and if he doesn't openly support it- His law firm represents the Spanish company awarded a (no bid) contract to build the NAFTA superhighway... in other words he's got a serious flipp'n conflict of interest. Further, if he opposes open borders why did he turn New York City into a sanctuary city.

And if he is for open borders... this among a hundred other reasons is an unacceptable candidate. His firm also represents the Saudi's and he is CFR.

Romney is politically undecided (flip/flop)on so many issues whereas McCain is decidedly liberal.

They are ALL for the war in Iraq, war in Iran and seem to relish in the newly acquired presidential directives and executive orders handed down by Bush.

They are all equally bad.

I'm not sure that there are major differences between them, minus McCain's immigration stance.

The so called "top tier" are pretty bland. I respect Steve Forbes, who sides with Giuliani, if he can associate with people like that instead of Bernard Kerik(who is good, just too many skeletons) Giuliani may emerge.

I support Duncan Hunter, he stands out on Immigration, China, Iran, Victory in Iraq, manufacturing, conservative values, 2nd amendment, etc , etc

Guliani has adjusted some of his retoric of late to more closely mirror the conservative base.
McCain is hopelessly pro open boarders after his saddleing up with his buddy Kennedy and too much support for Bush.

The winner will be the candidate that is most successful in distancing himself from Bush!!!
Thompson can do this, McCain can't. and Romney will if he's as smart as everyone seems to think he is!
Guliani is another closet liberal like Bush. We were fooled once, but not again.

i could prefer to ascertain Mitt Romney win, yet I concern the GOP will nominate a some distance-suited conservative who will reason self sustaining electorate to re-% Obama. Cain is having a surge interior the polls, conservatives like him, yet i don't. He has 0 political journey. i could believe him with being a enterprise supervisor, yet not the President! Perry is in basic terms too mixed for me. The media casts him as yet another George W. Bush, he stumbles throughout his words, does not end his strategies, he comes for the period of as boastful and insincere, asserting in basic terms the flaws he thinks i prefer to hearken to. to boot, I dislike his perspectives on unlawful immigration. i don't think of he's out of it yet, yet i do in comparison to him. i don't see Republicans finding previous Ron Paul's remote places coverage perspectives. i don't see him getting the nomination. on the worst, he will run as a 0.33 party candidate and cut up the Republican vote (i.e. Ross Perot) Michelle Bachmann become my early popular, yet she has not grown as a candidate. She is asserting the comparable old issues, and as such i think of she is on her way out. i think of she could have been wiser to stay in Congress extremely than injury her attractiveness and credibility via a failed bid for the Presidency. i like Newt Gingrich. He has too many skeletons interior the closet for a Presidential nomination (had an affair, have been given divorced, is in basic terms too old, had debt matters), yet Newt is an astonishing flesh presser who knows Congress interior and out. He could make an incredible determination for vice chairman. Jon Huntsman isn't rather out of it. The media likes him, as carry out a little independents. If he has an early win, he may be a marvel candidate - a depressing horse. besides the undeniable fact that he's something of a miles less-conventional version of Romney. something of a average, and a Mormon. yet whilst Romney is out of it, Huntsman could have a surge.

their platforms are full of smoke and mirrors to get the votes. if you look at their previous records (except mccain I have not researched him as thoroughly as the others )you will see they are out right liars when stating what they stand for . I personally am voting for Ron Paul because I know he is speaking the truth and he is the only one with a plan to make republicans respectable again

The only true electable person on that list is Thompson. He is in the model of G.W. Bush and Ronald Regan.
