....Stalin, Che or Fidel nobody says a word? I think it has something to do with the liberal, commi lovers that controlled congress for over forty years and their influence on public education (indoctrination). I think the dictators and their cronies are about equally evil. What about you, are you going to toe the party line or finally have your own opinion?

The world is in rough shape. America's reputation around the world right now is at an all time low. Many tough challenges lie ahead.

Who do we want in the White House next? The GOP losers all lack experience at the highest levels of government. Most of the dems are a joke too.

But if you vote for Hilary Clinton, not only do you get an incredibly smart woman as President, but you're basically electing Bill Clinton too. He will be with her every step of the way, and he's one of the greatest political minds of all time and one of the greatest leaders this country as ever known.

It's a good deal.

Will you take it?

He was asked in tonight's (9/5) debate about saying that if passengers had guns on 9/11, it wouldn't have happened.

Paul said he was misquoted, so he corrected the content of the question - fair enough. He said that the government has no role in protecting passengers, that it's the airlines' responsibility, and that if the government didn't impose laws forbidding airlines from protecting their property, and passengers, with guns, then 9/11 would not have happened.

He then proceeded to babble incoherently in an effort to drive home his point that airlines should have been allowed to protect their property.

NEWS FLASH: Airlines were SOLELY responsible ON 9/11 for airport security, with NO government operational involvement in checkpoint protocol or in hiring security screeners. In fact, the screeners at that time were all actually airline employees, paid minimum wage, who would have been flipping burgers at McDonald's if not working for the airlines.

Case closed.

Suppose you had the power to change the way we elect congress, the President, and other officials.

Would you change anything about our electoral system?

Or would you leave it exactly the way it is?

I've read several question over the last couple of weeks about Katrina and its effects on New Orleans.

Here is my question. If Katrina destroyed New Orleans then why didn't Florida get destroyed 11 times? Why wasn't there the same public out cry 11 times? It stands to reason that Katrina was not the culprit here. So what was?

If it wasn't the storm that hurt New Orleans severely then what was it? What actually put the people of New Orleans in harms way? Could it be the economic mind set and desisions of the welfare state set up in Loisiana? Could that be the difference? Could that be the problem?

Or could it be, as Kanye West put it, "George Bush hates black people"?

An asteroid impact could totally end life on the planet as we know it, yet we are doing nothing to prevent it. The risk of this occurring in the next century is 1 in 5000.

Imagine what will happen with Iraq and the US-Iraq relationship in the longterm (in 10 or 20 years from now). What might be the similarities and differences from both situations?

There is no ability to lose the war in Iraq, since it is not really a war. There is no established enemy, just a huge number of sects fighting each other for control. We should have turned this over to the UN, who can manage this situation without any risk of political greed, a long time ago. Do you agree?

Note that the majority liberals defend animals, trees, criminals, and terrorists.

Yet they can't even defend unborn babies with no say in their right to life process.

Shame on you liberals.

GOD BLESS these babies!

He is currently in Australia and i decided to watch his press conference. I noticed what passion and conviction he has for all the decisions he has made. I do not agree with all of them but i now admire him as a leader and decision maker. I am by no means a Bush supporter but i have to say he really impressed me evn if we had to close down half of the city to accomodate him. What is your opinion of the man and can you distance the war from the man making the decisions etc.

I think they could have lots of power and sway an election if they did vote.

Its a well know fact, the majority of blacks dont vote but here are some stats anyways: In a past election 44% of the black population turned out.

Perhaps weeding out the politically illiterate would improve the quality of representation in this country? It doesn't have to be difficult, just screened for sighs of racial, political, or social bigotry. I'm all for the Constitution, but it was intended for educated men (yes, and women).

Really everytime someoen makes a question that the americans don't like to hear they get it deleted. You guy's really dont like criticism huh? When a racist question about a relegion/race is posted ntohing happens the Y/A is compeletely apethetic but with a question critical of the behaviour of american soldiers is made then somehow that warrents deletion?

From AP News:

Democratic presidential hopeful John Edwards said on Sunday that his universal health care proposal would require that Americans go to the doctor for preventive care.

"It requires that everybody be covered. It requires that everybody get preventive care," he told a crowd sitting in lawn chairs in front of the Cedar County Courthouse. "If you are going to be in the system, you can't choose not to go to the doctor for 20 years. You have to go in and be checked and make sure that you are OK."

You may recall that Hillary recommended jail time for doctors who provided health care outside of the government health care system. Will Edwards' plan be just as draconian?

The Patriot Act, the Military Commissions Act, the overturning of Posse Comitatus and Habeas Corpus and now this:

US B-52 in Nuclear Cargo Blunder

The missiles were mounted on the wings of a B-52 bomber
The US Air Force has launched an investigation after a B-52 bomber flew across the US last week mistakenly loaded with nuclear-armed missiles.
It follows reports in the Army Times that five missiles were unaccounted for during the three-hour flight from North Dakota to Louisiana.

The air force said "the cruise missiles were safe at all times." (Don't you always trust what the Pentagon says?)

Army Times said the missiles were to be decommissioned but were mistakenly mounted on the bomber's wings.

The W80-1 warhead has a yield of five to 150 kilotons, the paper said.

The flight took place on 30 August, from the Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota to the Barksdale Air Force Base, near Bossier City, in Louisiana.
