The "Dems" are from the richest parts of the US...New York (and New England in general), Calif. and Minn are the most educated and earn much more per capita compared to the rural south, west and midwest....The real problem would be that we would need a large military to defend us from you...the good news is that our technology will keep us ahead...this was tried before in 1860....I love old Abe, but he should have given the South what it wanted....then let them back in with their tail between their legs after an embargo bankrupted them...you can grow anything in Minn, even cotton

Imagine, all the bible bashing conservatives from the education impoverished south, trying to maintain a healthy economy. Not to mention bigot central.
Thank goodness our country has a healthy mix of people, especially those well educated from the blue states, who take on engineering and R&D jobs, and who are smart enough not to depend on foreign oil, and won't support outsourcing our economy.
