I guess you were too stupid to order an imported beer.

LOL!!!
Budweiser should be called "Beer Flavoured Soft Drink with Sugar and Sweeteners"
nick v (above) - you shouldn't be drinking lager anyway. Drink real ale like a man!!!
Edit: Cylon - yeah Wychwood Hobgoblin - thats the stuff!
I used to work for a CAMRA pub of the year, every now and then we'd get an American tourist in who'd try to have a go on the real ale and would have to be scraped up off the floor after 2 pints. Very amusing.

You must be the Englishman that went up the hill, do doubt, had you drank 29 pints of our Budweiser Beer whether it was your version of beer or not or "what you call a beer substitute" it's still strong and has quite a kick so, I would venture to say you either a alcoholic or a ? I did hear of a few good consoling centers it you want to names.

Your question made me lol.
I like england's alcohol, it is the only place in the world with real ale - proper beer. All other countries just have lager, and while in Europe it is almost always better than English lager, we are the ones with real ale.
Edit: cylon, did you hear about ringwood brewery being bought by marstons? I hope they still make the same beers,n though im not too worried, as marstons is still real ale even if it is such a big company.

Budweiser = all the alcohol, none of the taste (why do you think we drink it so cold) ... just be glad you didn't buy a 12 pak at a grocery store in the mid-west ... that beer is only 3.2% alcohol
Bud is meant to be consumed ice cold with a brat smothered in sour kraut and mustard while watching a football game
not as a preferred libation at a popular nightclub
Bud is a little like a hand shake, its kinda an American tradition
btw, when I goto England I don't eat haggis, but I don't make fun of you guys eating that crap :P

What`s the difference between Budweiser and gnats piss??
Nothing.
The only Budweiser worth drinking is the the stuff brewed in Prague.
David R....Sam Adams is ok....Red Hook and alasken Amber are much better....but then they would both be termed as medium alcohol beer here in Britain.
now these brewerys are the best here...(my opinion)

2 0r 3 Old Thumpers or Hobgoblins and you`ll be flat out.

Real Beer has not been made illegal in the United States.... some people just like the weaker beer. Obviously a lot of people, because it sells.

Lots of crass replies from stupid Americans. Keep up the good work Sid. Why can't Americans understand irony ? Have they no sense of humour? Or are they just thick?

English beer is far overrated - great as syrup on pancakes though.
German beer and Dutch beer is far better. For that matter Samuel Adams (American) is better.
Go watch some soccer - if you're lucky the big game may end 0-0. That will be exciting!!!
PS: The best beer in England is Budweiser.

Because the average yank, as soon as he's pissed up would go home and give his misses a good kicking. Then probably go round to his neighbours house "the one with the noisy dawg" and kick up merry hell. Then probably go to his rifle cabinet, pick out his biggest and bestest rifle and go and invade Mexico!
